10 players per waiting list at 2-4 is just ridiculous. It takes more than an hour to get on a lot of tables. 2-4 zoom should just replace that

I got a Zoom-Poker improvement idea:

Put the "I'm back" button above the fold button, makes it easier to rejoin the pool by pressing fold, very handy with TableNinja.
That;s how it was done with FullTilts RUSH Poker

By "impacting game liquidity" do you mean recreational players will go busto more quickly, so Pokerstars may actually lose customers?
I can certainly envisage some players giving Zoom a try, getting quickly and absolutely crushed by nitty regs, and then never depositing again. As video games go, Zoom could be a very expensive habit that provides less "entertainment utility per hour" than other pastimes.

You really think nitty regs who aren't playing pots with fish bust fish faster then people playing pots with fish EVERY hand?

lets put it like that, the mass tablers love it because they can play even more hands and get even more rakeback.

the guys who prefer to make money playing poker and not via rakeback just dont like it.

Pokerstars Stefan,
I am speaking about FR only.
2-4 fullring->10+ players on the waiting list. Those games are like non-existent already. And no, people won't start tables all of a sudden if they hadn't so far.

And at 1-2 there are tons more players and tables and still very large waitlists. It also takes care of bumhunting as others mentioned. More hands per hour with zoom, stars is happy, we are happy

Dear stefan , i dont see any reason to not have 2-4 for zoom as the 2-4 games are pretty horrible at times for both fullring and 6max. Huge waiting lists , people hit and running the fish , tables breaking up all the time. Seems like 2-4 is dead

If i decide i want to play a session i gotta wait an hour or more which is insanely annoying for anyone. You also cant even take a break once you opened tables since you would have to wait those sick waiting lists again.

Zoom fixes all those problems

this is completely ridiculous. it is easy to get 2/4 tables going, most of the time they fill up very fast when they are started.

you just cant expect that everyone is waiting for you, sir.

agree w/ kiwikaki. because of the novelty, you would attract many players to Zoom1/2 or Zoom2/4 that don't wish to play at the regular tables, where it takes 30min to start a session. that is why you should introduce higher stakes to zoom poker.

I'm noticing there is a dispersion in a 10k sample. Is this variance ? How are the position assigned ? Randomly ?

yup. even in the 100 games there appear to be a bunch of people who generally play lower stakes who are jumping up to play the highest stakes of zoom that are available. rather than killing the player pool you might open up access to a whole other group of people who wouldnt normally be playing 400.

wtf, my hands per position are uniformly distributed.

Have you got a filter on?

and we're talking FR games, those are dead anyway in the mid stakes. 6max will probably not run well in zoom like it did in rush and i think most zoomers don't care about 6max?
right know it's probably one of the busiest hours on stars and there are 9 FR 2/4 games running.
the bellagio has more 5/10 live tables running than you with 220k players online right now.

No filter, those are my hands at nl100. Could this be explained because I'm ratholing ? If that is the case I don't see why this is happening. I always wait the bb for sit out next bb so I can't understand what's going on.

exactly. I play 100nl but I'd play 400 zoom for sure. It's just too time consuming to get a session going above 100nl since I don't start tables

Zoom has a major bug: Whenever an opponent from Europe flats my 4-bet with a ******ed hand ( A9o, A6o, K6, Q9, 52off, just to name some) he wins every single time against my premium hands. WTF. This is unreal.
