well,,, not all of us. I haven't played enough on Stars this year to allow cashing 5300+ FFPs.

+1 million

Doubt it will be any time soon, but I'm clinging to hope that PS re-enters the US market some time in the future.

Some players have reported that their VIP status was either raised from Platinum Star to SN or that they simply had their SN status extended for another year. These players have said that they were on pace but did not actually achieve SN before 4/15. Was this done as a courtesy to these players because they were already SNs or have been SNs in the past? A Bronze Star also made this thread here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...stars-1033527/

I appreciate all your guys' efforts, but it seems some lucky players have been given preferential treatment and it is not fair to all the others.

Hello Steve,

I'm Takeover1, a member of PokerStars since 2003-2004. I've spent years putting in a full-time grind on Stars, and have always been happy to conduct my livelihood there. I appreciate the way your company has handled all facets of Black Friday, with the exception of FPP conversions. I currently have ~336,250, which at a .016 rate equals $3,780. With your current conversion method, I'm forced to only accept $3,400, a difference of $380. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer to my situation.

Thank you,
TO1

Ok Steve, get that. By that reasoning then shouldnt I be able to purchase T$ as they were available on 4-15, then of course convert them, I personally am losing over 35% in equity by only using it on the cash rewards and not T$. Can we please get a clairification on the purchasing and conversion of T$ as it relates today?
Happy for anything and appreciate PS very much for their hard work and loyalty to customers, I just dont wanna be rash and miss out on value by being uninformed.

Personally, I'm pissed with this result; I think it sucks (yes, FTP is worse that is irrelevant).

PokerStars is embarrassing whatever competition they have. For some reason I have a good feeling this all ties into some sort of knowledge or agreement that PokerStars has that they will indeed be returning, or at least showing the world where they should play without leaving any doubt.

You can buy a $4,000 bonus for 250,000 FPPS...So surely 336,250 FPPs is worth more than $4,000..

How are the guys with a million fpps getting ****ed pretty hard? You can just buy the $4k bonus as many times as you want...

Good job stars

By any chance are you 2 (or everyone else saying this) losing out a few thousand worth of value? Because I'm still waiting for a bronze with 1 million+ points to come on here and say this. I'm guessing not though, and your all people who got everything so all is good..

Funny thing is I'm out about $8. However a part of me cares that other people are losing out thousands and I really don't like that stars will keep millions in left over value. You could easily change your view slightly and try to get these millions donated to a good cause. Seriously, Its incredible. Is it a society thing or just poker players mentality that makes them only care about themselves. Whatever it is, its quite sad.

I love how this whole event has brought out the real posters who hide behind their SNs. Really sad group of people we got here honestly.

Just converted all my remaining FPP's. Just over 183K. Lost about $400 value in the process. Had to buy 1500 bonus, 650 bonus, 50 bonus or whatever and 25 bonus. When the total came out I noticed I lost $400 dolars in value on 183K if I were able to use .016 rate for Supernova's. Thats a pretty big value. Dissapointing to say the least. Anyway cashing out now.

Bronze can only buy $25 bonus. Its like a 6k difference between spending a million points on the $25 vs the 4k bonuses.

The DOJ is letting US players cashout. Why won't they just let us play again?!

I'm not arguing that he wouldn't be getting screwed. I just answered his question, the result of which is a helluva lot better than he originally thought. 29 times better, in fact.

And apparently only one other poster realizes the true SHAME and GREED in PokerStars keeping the leftover earned value isn't in the $20, or $7 or $5 that they are withholding from each player, it's the MILLIONS of dollars they are retaining for their own benefit. Take, for instance, that there were nearly 2 million UNIQUE tournament players on PS in 2010. We can only guess the number of real money ring game players.

Am I happy that I'm getting the VAST majority of my money back from PokerStars? Yes. Have they been light years ahead of FT/AP/UB in their response to this difficult situation? Yes. But does that mean it's ok for them to stash away millions of dollars that Americans have earned? No.

I fully understand them placing a minimum amount on FPP cashouts, as every $2.31 withdrawal would be costly and overly tedious. This is reasonable; practical; logical. But for those with hundreds of dollars worth of FPPs, they should be able to cash out, e.g. $619.37 instead of just $600. I'd like to see PS give us a reasonable, practical, and logical explanation for this. Is it logical that they'd take this money grab? Sure. Is it practical for them to do so? Obviously, since they are, and so many of you are just happy you got a percentage of what you already earned. Is it reasonable? In no discernible way.

Imagine if you worked for a company for 5 years, and then got fired, at which point a few weeks later they sent you a check for only 7 of the past 10 days you worked, and a note that said they were only giving you 70% of the stock options that, under your contract, you should have earned. Would you be thinking: "Thank God! At least they paid me something!"? You've got to be kidding me...

This is going to add up to a nice chunk of change that PS will never have to payout on.
Give this to Obama election campaign in exchange for Presidential veto to allow U.S. citizens to play ipoker again!

Bah, I finished with 1.94 million. 60 more minutes of play on April 14 and I'd have had 6 4k bonuses.

All other news is good news, though. Ty Stars.
