Would be funny if they planned this as one big level, so we'd strike and they'd say ok we'll keep it as is. Then they wouldn't have to introduce new incentives and bonuses and we'd feel like we "won".

or the ridiculous rake cap increases are the level, so they can graciously reverse those, while keeping W/C rake, making no other changes, and we feel like we won. the exact same thing happened on partypoker 4 months ago

A sitout won't do anything. The only thing that will change things is an extended exodus; cashout and don't play on the site for a few months. Anything short of that is a waste of time. Sorry for the dose of reality.

BANG. Stars gives a few pennies back to the micros but really more than makes up for it by killing the mid/high grinders.

1st is one of the best possible dates imo... It's free from school/work for most people... and since a lot of ppl are probably hung over from NYE it means they're at home. It's not really that hard to open up 24 tables and sitout even when you're feeling like ****.

It's probably the best possible date there is in next few weeks.
