Styla:
Movement is not for going back to dealt, it's against the increased 5-handed rakecap and not adjusting the VIP program to rake distribution change. Nobody (well, the big majority) is saying they should go back to dealt, they should simply adjust their VIP program so that same $$$ amount would be paid in bonuses instead of the moneygrab they currently plan on doing.

Occupy PokerStars Blog should be a good place to show all points clear or at least edit the OP before the 30.

*Best times to protest
*Have the clear petition
*Short chat message
*Occupy seats in another table if 2 seats are already taken ¨6max ¨
*Consistency weekend after weekend (If its actually decided to do it on weekends)
*_______

Exactly this, althought it doesn't really matter what type of changes you want. The way I see it, we are showing the sites that we will not stand idle by and let them take more and more money for themselves.

Look at the direction Bodog (Taking a vital skill aspect away from the game, no reads), Everleaf (Winners are not allowed to sit certain tables), Enet (€100 rake cap) and now stars wants some more too. For ****s sake.

I wrote this on the other topic but it is highly pertinent to this one too, so there it goes:

Quote:

it would be very useful to get a comparison of rake new versus old across the board.

Not charts with rake, but simulations over a sample of real hands played. Charts are misleading and what happens to the total rake taken depends greatly on the distribution of pot sizes and number of players.

I made it for one stake/game (and I play a range of 5 stakes) and I cant give more time to this for the moment to check the others stakes leave alone try to figure it to stakes/games where I have little to none information but with several players contributing to it, it would be easier.

Otherwise we will have to wait until 1/2 January to figure the overall scenario...

The stake I "tested" is 2/4 FL 6max and the result was an increase of rake taken of about 10% more thant it is at the present.

Adding to this rake increase, also rakeback will decrease since the new method being WC so it goes up both ways (more rake taken up front, less given back in rewards).

I'm already boycotting Stars. I will come back on Jan 1st for the sit out. I've emailed my VIP rep already and stated my point. Let's hope Stars sees the light and/or fires some people to get the company back to what it was. This may be it for me, in 2011 I got over 300k vpps, that's a lot of rake they may miss out on.
