my guess is that the most unethical thing that has possibly ever occured between the two of them is the occasional chatter about hands they are playing. i really don't take offense to this. it may be a grey area (depending on the direction of the conversations) in online poker ethics, but their live banter doesn't really affect their profit. maybe if one was terribad and the other was really good. but it sounds like both are grinder vets so who friggen cares.

i have never seen them together at the same table and i am seated at the same table with each of them at least a few occasions every day

i told her in the chat window today that there was a funny thread about her on 2p2 and she should check it out...dunno if she saw

yeah she saw lol, she messaged me on facebook to tell me to take a look at this, long story short OP is suspicious with no real evidence even though multiple notable people in the community are willing to back both the players stories.

I never even played with that person ever....and oh yeah, I was never backed by some creepy sites on ps or FTP and hollisterb22 is the only screen name I have ever used...just throwing it out there! I guess it's funny to me that the person who started this whole thing actually got really mad because I didn't wanna add some random stranger on my Facebook so he make this up to get my attention... I haven't read through all of this thread yet, but don't act like poker players who all live together and grind out mtts dont share information thorughout the tourneys.

Also I think Irene is a lot more aggro and spewy then mugger. but both good players.

Don't act like this is perfectly acceptable and doesn't give them an unfair advantage. Don't act like this isn't a large reason why most casual and recreational players have abandoned playing online poker, drying up a lot of the dead money. Don't act like the online poker community and economy is better off overall because people chose to do this.

WTF are you talking about, no where did I say that online poker community is better because of this. I'm Simply saying "Don't act" like hollister and mugsy are the first people to play together in the same house. Yeah it sucks people are playing in the same house but thats been going on for a long time.

Sites have been messing with this for awhile now, so I think blocking them from playing STTs and cash games is obv the right move. Yeah it sucks with merges smaller fields they will probably run into each other at least once a night, but hopefully when that happens they are honest with themselves and respect the game.

I dont know either one of them, but i can say it cant be proven. Ok its a good theory the guy got 2 accts for rakeback and all and bonuses and for cashouts, but you cant prove it.

This Irene is obviously a real person yeah, but it also cant be proven she plays cards, it could just be this guys gf who says she plays. Anyone who"knows her" cant possibly vouche and no1 knows for SURE whos who, anyone can be on the other end and send a picture of a girl, and making up stories.

IT is pretty shady the history and facts against them and a huge lol to the people who think if they are on a table theres not any"hey hon what you got this hand, can i reshove the river on this 4flush board with my king because the ACE was dead cuz you folded " crap going on.

OP---since you bolded it in your first post to make it loud and clear---you can for sure tell us these two accounts are one guy? pretty ****ty to say that on a public forum when you don't have a shread of verifiable evidence to support that claim beyond two roommates/friends/bf/gf playing the same tournaments.

I've played with Hollister22 and Hollister22smanobv. They are very different players. Also when chatting with them you can tell that one is female and the other is male. I gotta say that manobv's game is getting better. I went through a stretch where I was busting him in every tourney.

Um, are you serious? I completely agree something fishy may be going on (whether it be m/aing, using each others accounts, may have other accounts?, gimmick with the whole girl thing, etc.) but to say they are both good players is laughable at best and actually just a completely ******ed and absurd statement. "She" has <10k profit over 2 years and >9k mtts played. Add that with her cash game losses on every site and she is break-even at best. Hard to believe someone that looks as good as she does is wasting away grinding it out like that. She has poker listed on her P5s profile as her profession and it also suggests she grinds 1/2 and 2/5 at Mohegan (can anyone confirm, anyone seen her?) Something is not adding up here.

I've played with her a decent amount over the past month. She plays alright ABC poker for the most part, but makes huge fundamental mistakes (only note on merge: flat utg 2.2x raise utg+1 with 12 bbs and c/f a Kxx flop 3 way; I was utg raiser and was c/fing cuz i was convinced the "solid reg" had to have aces obv). The showdowns I've seen have been played standard at best and pretty unimpressive (bet sizing pretty horrendous).

She also has berated me on several occasions, calling out my merge "stats" of like -500 or something over 60ish mtts, lol. The way she berated me did seem kinda feminine (cant explain just vibe I got) and I've never really thought she wasn't a girl.

Whoever this hollisterb22 person may be, I don't feel they are a big threat skill wise. However, the integrity of these accounts should probably be in question.

You obv aren't thinking deep enough smart guy he is obv doing this so that people like you won't think he's cheating. He knows that nobody could possible be dumb enough to multi acct w. names that similar so that is actually what he does. We are clearly dealing with some sort of mastermind here.
He even went as far as having his gf send in pics for him and talk at the tables. Even tho he is guilty obv you still have to give him credit for being this dedicated. And it's clear that the only one smart enough to see through his grand scheme is dhcg86
