I've been on numerous skype calls or chat groups while playing sessions. Never been a time where someone even suggested soft playing each other. All of us are very competitive and LOVE busting each other. It's a hell of a lot more fun to bust up a friend in a goofy spot than it would ever be to soft play them. ****, It is even better when you GET THERE vs them, esp when i'm like 5%

Your own personal experiences is very different than a lot of peoples though. I'm not talking about players softplaying their friends. The cheating comes from players using 3rd party outside means of communication to cheat others. Exposing blocker or other dead hole cards. Setting up squeeze plays over blinds. sharing HHs and other PT3 HeM data. All this sort of stuff is explicitly banned in 95% of poker sites and networks TOS. But they are ignored so much. Oh well, nothing I can do abotu it...except gripe on 2+2..

I am not sure if this is related or relevant at all, but I player I used to back with the name of hollisterpmp on parttimepoker (bigchips101 on stars / cant recall FTP sn) failed to report a large win and rolled me for well over 2k in 2010. He was caught red handed but denied it to the community and disappeared.
