Just got my bonus and money back. Two thumbs up on full tilt for coming through again and working hard to resolve the problems.

Has anyone else who is waiting on checks received no email from FTP in the last two days? Even an email would be great at this point.

Shame on the venues that could but won't put pressure on Full Tilt to
get their house in order...........
because the story is AWFUL for the game. keeping the integrity of the game in as positive light as possible for the public eye is more important than a processor that gets shut down and inconveniences a group of players. there was no money stolen, just awful delays. there is no need to cut off the head of the snake over a bunch of bounced checks.

No, my cashout from 7/27 was also affected and reimbursed to my account this morning.

If that "positive" light is an untruth, then why shouldn't the truth (i.e. what is actually happening) be reported by a credible source (credible is a stretch). The state of online poker is at its worst and is only getting worse. This is due to government restriction, I am aware, but when one company is having massive problems for months, while another is having no problems, why should a lid be kept on such information?

I think even a 60 minutes story would be good for the game. The more people are informed about poker and the skill involved, the easier it will be to play legally and hassle-free, not to mention the fact that more fish would be playing. Granted, the scandals being shown on such a scope would look bad, but with regulation these would be harder to perpetrate, and I could get ****ing paid the money I am owed.

Weird, i guess there was a couple of weeks where the checks were ok because
i had one

Requested 7/21
Approved 7/22
Received 7/26 (CA processor, i'm in boston)

I wonder if there are problems again? I had one approved aug 2nd that I havent got yet, but that is still well within the normal waiting period so i dont know if there is a problem or not.

first, i fully understand your frustration. however, a 60 minutes expose is likely to NOT include the skill argument and the positives of regulation. just like all media, 99% of the story will be online poker = illegal, americans are getting ripped off, and teens are degenerating.

an insightful story about senator al, the PPA, regulation and the skill argument would not make as good tv.

Guys I copied this from full tilts forums, look like they redid the email they were sending out,and telling people their only option is cash pickup,I'm not sure where this will leave me,they don't let me use cash pickup(pokerstars does) I still have had no email from them, and no funds.
Dear stackinsideways,

Further to our email entitled "Update Regarding Your Full Tilt Poker Check Withdrawal", we would like to highlight incorrect information provided to you in this correspondence.

Please note: the only withdrawal method available to you at this time will be Cash pick-up and not check withdrawal as previously incorrectly advised.

Please read below for amended email outlining your available withdrawal options and revised refund timeframe; we sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by our previous correspondence.

Dear stackinsideways,

Unfortunately, you were among a group of players affected by a problem with recent check withdrawals:

DATE:
12 July 2008

TRANSFER NUMBER:
xxxxx

AMOUNT:
xxxxxx

Your withdrawal amount will be returned to your Full Tilt Poker within the next 24 hours. We acknowledge that these continued issues with check withdrawals are unacceptable and sincerely apologize for this event and any inconvenience it has caused.

In order to deliver your funds to you in the quickest and most reliable manner, we ask that you re-submit your withdrawal request using Cash Pickup: Please allow 1-3 business days processing time for the funds to be available for pickup.

As a token of our appreciation for your patience in this matter, we will be crediting your Full Tilt Poker account with
$25
within the next 24 hours.

Should you have any further questions please feel free to reply to this email. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Full Tilt Poker Support

I guess your best option would be to find a reliable person to transfer funds too on full tilt who can return the favor on stars. Sorry about all the troubles i've seen you have on here. Hope something works out for you soon!

Best of luck.

Hm. I got the same email. I've already put in for a cash pickup, so it's fine, but have they really narrowed things down to a single withdrawal option for US players? That's pretty crazy.

WHAT THE F IS CASH PICK UP? Apparently that is my only option now. I've been trying to get the remainder of my money off of that site for months.

They've made over 50,000 dollars off of me in rake and they can't even mail a check to me??? Jesus christ.

Ugh, I don't want to have to stand in that line and worry about getting mugged coming out, lol.

Requested: 7/29
Approved: 8/1

Have not received any correspondence or a check.

It's frustrating trying to get the bulk of my roll into a savings account so that I don't have to worry about lag times when I just can't get ahead of the lag times to save my life. I guess I'll just have to man up and hit up Cash Pickup for $2500 every few days, lol. Maybe Bank Transfer will come back online as FTPDoug indicated it might.

here was my last check.

so they aren't doing checks anymore?

what's the deal?

(also, it's kinda irritating that after the big update they didn't change the check limits from 5K to 3K since ive been told 3k is the max now)

Use cash pickup. Having a lot of money on you sucks when you leave especially if there is a crowd behind you but keep in mind wallyworld has more cameras than a camera store outside. At least 20 on top of the ones here and thats not counting the ones on the light poles of the parking lot that you can't see as good.
