I doubt more will be said other than the occasional "nice hand"

Ali Nejad will be talking more . . . they gotta fill up the dead air SOMEHOW.

Nice idea, but it just doesn't work for PAD. There is only so much of Ali commenting on the most mundane of actions I can take.

So far the most entertaining part of this week is Phil Hellmuth explaining how all the top level pros sit around watching him play hold'em... sigh

i'd like the next eye-candy host/interviewer to either be:

A. Familiar with poker to the point of being able to ask intelligent questions.
B. Completely oblivious but without trying to hide it.

Either get someone with some knowledge or get someone who's going to be funny but not going to pretend.

Wow that was so boring. And wtf at Wasicka. He played terrible. And he claims that was his more aggressive side? Wtf is he doing 1) raising for like 1/5 of his stack then folding (the 89o hand) 2) limp folding A3 with a short stack (not sure what his stack and blinds were, but it was such an easy shove) and 3) checking KJo in bb on short stack when Ferguson limps sb for second time. I assumed Wasicka would play solid, but that was embarassing.

Also, Hellmuth is such an idiot. I think I say this in every thread about him on tv, but it's always true.

PH as usual, coming across as a total douchebag - and he wasn't even playing in this episode.

They should have two matches running simultaneously, and cut to the more interesting hands.

Also, this makes it clear a HU PLO game would be way more interesting.

See I think most have completely flown by why they picked this lineup. they didn't just piece these four together it's the four winners of the NBC National Heads up Championship. I know some know this but it seems like others do not.

i'm not defending the lineup but I guess NBC thought it would be fair if the four winners duked it out again.

All poor play aside... That was still painful to watch. 2 stale personalities playing heads-up isnt fun to have to witness. Cant believe Im looking forward to hearing Hellmuth on the next show after having to endure that.

Someone who isn't good enough for Josh Beckett ain't good enough for me (they broke up b/c she gave details about their sex life/his member in a Maxim interview during his Marlins days. Classy).

Her personality tilts me, she obv got the show because of her interviewing skills and not because she has a great body

And does Phil need to be there railing and commenting? Does the guy have a life? I mean, seriously Phil, is the teevee time that important to you?

It really doesn't matter how they got it together, but to make this format interesting, they have to have four guys that talk...Matusow, Negreanu, etc

Agreed. I only watched the show to get to Hellmuth/Ted... After I realized they wouldn't, I still had to watch the ending.

Good to see tomorrow's matchup starting with complaining about Phil playing slow.....and Phil complaining about the complaining.... (or so it looks)
