When streaming it online i really want to fast forward a few minutes in to the action but then i think to myself "i'd better not do that, i might skip past leanns titties by accident". This is truthfully what i think.

I should be immune to her rack after thousands of hours of zeh porns but you can't hide the quality.

Watching PH get owned is the best. I don't know how many times i've seen his PAD cash game and HSP ownage. Cracks me up.

I love how hellmuth talks like he won that TT vs T7s hand.

"he reraised and I looked at him and I just knew that he had nothing so I had to reraise 4k more" great thinking btw

"I feel like I'm outplaying them. I got like 20k in with tens against T7"

yeah you just forgot to call the extra 50k on the flop lol

I really think he has a real psychological problem. He is so delusional he actually thinks he wins even when he loses. It's impressive.

The amazing thing about Hellmuth is he is getting very close to perfectly suboptimal play. Every single part of his game is terrible.

You could approximate optimal game theory by playing exactly opposite of Hellmuth in every aspect of the game.

I love how PH can just say "my instincts told me..." to justify any play. Such good value is old philly boy.

what makes it especially good is that it came at hellmuth's expense.

What was Viffer doing int he hand though? I hate Hellmuth, but I can understand his disgust here. Some fish calls a 3bet with K9, calls an overbet on the flop with 3 outs, and then binks it.

Seriously, Viffer was just being a fish...

The Adams/Hellmuth hand was very interesting.

I mean, it pretty much seemed like she was goading him into playing more and kind of teasing him too.

Imagine if there were a spinal surgeon who, for years, was arguably the world's best. Then there's an advancement in technology that revolutionizes the field and all of his peers quickly surpass him using this new technology that he refuses to utilize because he is "old school". And he is continually mocked in the leading medical journals for not realizing he is a dinosaur and for refusing to embrace the new technology. But of course, in his own mind, he practices his medicine flawlessly already and so how can you improve on perfection?

By the way, if anyone is adept at video editing, I think it'd be really funny to see a certain portion of this video edited in with the K9 hand.

And this, TripTwelves, is an example of combining two completely different thoughts (actually, 3) into one post.

If Viffer would have done this, then that would have been awesome!

I admit, Phil deserves everything he gets at the tables, but I think for Todd or Mike to have yelled Ace there would have been really....I am just not sure if Phil even deserved that from someone not in the hand....who knows LOL.

That was a good analogy actually....

and before I forget, for the third time.....Leeann Tweeden, I agree, who cannot get enough of this fine woman...My God...she always looks good, but something about this green dress and em...well, you know :P

Hellmuth deserves everything he gets x100. It amazes me that people can feel sorry for him after seeing him constantly berate others and just being an overall pr.ick every single time he loses a pot. I haven't seen any other big name pro act like him at the poker table. Total hypocrite narcissist douche.

Yup. He's calling BA a moron all day, but as soon as Viffer says something about him he complains about it.

Was Hellmuth ever really the world's best?

Honest question here coz I can accept maaaaybe he was, but I dunno. I know he won a couple of MTT donkaments back in the day (well OK, it was the WSOP, but it's still a donkament really), when the average skill was probably a bit lower and the field was a bit smaller. But back then without the internet and with poker being a far less popular game overall than it is now, it makes sense that someone who won the WSOP a few times might be thought to be a little better than they actually were. I dunno what other pros were around back in Phil's heyday but I'd think there could have been some cash pros or something who attached less importance to bracelets and suchlike that were still better players than him even back then.

I dunno, it's just kinda hard for me to see Hellmuth ever being the best, seems more likely the idea of him being the best was just a false representation of himself created by his ego and allowed to persist without the harsh spotlight that famous poker personalities find themselves under today with the exposure of their lifetime results that the internet provides.

I don't think he was ever thought of as a great cash game player. I'm sure Chip Reese/Doyle Brunson/etc would have loved to have him in their games.
