this is kind of the midrangey thing i'm envisioning but i hate the feeling of being close to lethal and not top decking burst damage which it seems like your deck might do a lot.

but yea holy **** is dispatch kodo the 4 drop that hunter always dreamed of. that slot has always been so weak. same with the 5 slot - so i opened knuckles, may test him out. almost certainly good in a buff MR deck but i dont know if that archetype will be a thing.

Doesn't the Alex + Grom plan give CW a chance against Druid?

You even get to run Cruel Taskmaster since it actually kills stuff on turn 2 now

The problem with it is you auto-lose to other shamans because hex. But he was making everybody else concede.

You build huge taunt walls and heal the **** out of yourself. People just concede to it if it gets to that point.

Druid has too much healing, have to either force it out earlier or hope they don't. have it. It's possible that a dragon control warrior with alex, grom, deathwing can flank jade Druid from above, and remain relevant. But there's no margin for error using all in top end strategies against that kind of deck, so it squeezes out a lot of the goodish control warriors that are able to make misplays and still climb the middle ranks. That is: if the Jade Druid population does not drop.

Everyone is making huge, huge mistakes, which is making any kind of ok deck played well seem like it has a lot of potential. That's why I love the first week of the new release. Can slowly climb while in mad scientist mode. Keyword: slowly.

Feels like Pirate Warrior takes a **** on the new buff Hunter and buff Paladin.

I'm trying a midrange demon Warlock (non-Reno) with mixed results so far.

It's a little weird that the 6 drop isn't a demon.

Yeah so hard counter to pirate warrior in same as it ever was Heavy removal oriented control Warrior. I just finished a warrior Quest doing that. Obviously got destroyed by Jade Druid - tried my Alex, Grom, deathwing strategy - but he was actually playing straight up fatigue with naturalize & burned my Alex. First drood played today running cold-light Oracle and naturalize with the Jade cards. Me think that is run over hard by any Tempo deck.

I'd like to see a good list. Seems like there just aren't enough good deathrattle cards in standard now (I'm probably a little biased because when I play wild now it's exclusively nzoth paladin with lots of GVG stuff).

thought about adding Abomination but that seems to hurt you as much as your opponent when its deathrattle procs late game

ETA: I haven't done well with it so far because like half my deathrattles are 1-of legendaries

I got the same # of legendaries (3, with 2 that are duplicates) opening 80 packs yesterday as I got that time I accidentally bought 15 TGT packs a while back. I've run good in the past on them so I chalk it up to variance...but I do have a seemingly inordinate amount of tri class cards, and I opened after the fix.

Ooze seems like an easy replacement.

Also really don't like horse riders over apparently dread corsairs. Sure horseriders have charge, but corsairs are often played for free and help get the cultist proc.
