This by a lot, better safe then sorry with this thread.

Good point. I'm glad I stuck with the spoiler tags.

I completely misread Marg for Sansa. Sorry.

I think it has to either be the pie or someone put posion in his cup while he was cutting the pie (and thus only the drink after he had the pie killed him).
If its the same poison that the dude tried to off Lady Milisendra with it can. I could go back and time it (and I might) but it seems the time it took to kill him and the time it took to kill joff after eating the pie were about in line. Don't remember if the symptoms were the same but I do remember blood coming out his nose and stuff.

Wanted to just say that the actor playing Joff really had playing the prick role nailed. I hated Joff obviously but I still appreciate the acting job.

Maybe that was Tywin vs Joffrey.

Agree sansa wasn't involved either, and if she did I'd like to imagine her lording it over him / laughing in his face as he died to let out all her pent up anger Haha.

I'm not putting to much importance on the time frame of the poison either

Devils Advocating for #teamOlenna,

I guess I could see her with Tywin next episode, explaining to him that Joff's death changes nothing and they still need each other. So Marg should marry Tommen--who is (from what we can gather) much less of a factor than Joff was. Marg has been building goodwill with the people Dany-style and could easily assume a more prominent role w/Tom than w/Joff.

Thanks, Nick. Can you post the next 2 or 3 frames also? That's where it looks like it happens. Then again, they might have done that to throw us off too.

I could but there's not much to see. I agree that when you watch that segment in motion it looks fishy but there's no evidence of anything in the caps.

If a book reader put together that whole screencap thing then **** them. I still don't believe it was Olenna just because it makes no sense from a strategic point of view.

Regardless of who did it, do you think there is any way Tyrion survives this?

Unless someone else admits to doing it, I don't see how he avoids being found guilty of this - in addition to having the cup, he's threatened Joffrey on a number of occassions.

Seems like there are plenty of possible suspects so I think he has a decent chance.

Tywin could step in; Tyrion is his key to the North. That's the imp's only shot.

That would depend on if the poison was in the wine or the pie, which shouldn't be too hard to prove.

At the least, it seems that Tyrion will most certainly have to leave KL at this point, if he survives at all

1) Not if he's lost Sansa.

2) If not, he could force Sansa to remarry another Lannister (if not Jamie then he could marry Sansa himself or have his brother do it).

Anyone here think that Theon is faking it? Hes obv damaged but how far down into Ramseys pocket is he? He seems to have trouble seeing the girl get killed and then he seems to contemplate if he actually should use the razor when he gets the news of Robs death.

Tyrion definitely survives

seems very likely that if ramsay and theon catch up to bran, that will be the time theon snaps back and kills bastard boltan.

"poison is a woman's weapon." I thought this was a GoT quote from season 1 or 2 but I can't find it was in the books or mentioned in the show or if I'm just thinking it's a general idea I'm imposing onto GoT.

I thought Bolton was half joking when he said he picked the fattest Frey daughter...

Grunching a bit but wasn't pycell sent back to the kitchen to notify the staff that the leftovers be sent to the kennels?

S1E4:

Ned: I've heard it said that poison is a woman's weapon.
Grand Maester: Yes, women, cravens and eunuchs. Did you know that Lord Varys is a eunuch?
