Considering FTP had a 11k$ overlay with their 500$ fat tuesday last week, reducing gts sounds appropriate

So the nightly 162 40k gtd got lowered to 35k just because we're in june?
Maybe you think its a small thing but its actually not.

This tourney never had any overlay before, even today on a monday it hit 49k prizepool.. I think its so important to not lower guarantees unless there has been overlay several times. Many great tournaments has been killed this way.

People look at the potential prizepool before registering, bigger gtds attracts more people, cmon just look at the data..

Think we need to add a Low Turbo PSKO during the late evening NA grind... something between Hot 5.5 and Nightlies. Lot of traffic guaranteed with all the nightly grinders.

Yeah there isn't anything to add in that area and I will usually stop before the $27 pko 6 max. It needs to be same time as big 27.50 or hot 5.50 or very close to those.

The reason the Big 27.5 is so big at that time period is specifically because there isn't other competition for that hour. Adding a mid/low PSKO during the 20:00ET time slot would hurt the Big 27.5.

I do think the night could handle a $11 PSKO at 21:00, as the 21:00-22 hour has almost no low stakes quality.

^^Doggz, I understand you like to keep your table count to 4 tables so you probably wouldn't play it, but a psko (preferably reg speed starting 30 mins before the big 27) would probably increase the field size of the big 27 not
decrease it.

^^yeah but the buy in is $27, 27 pskos don't get nearly as many entrants (or fishes) which might decide to reg the big 27 if they are still in the $11 or 16 psko

Prefer asbaafs idea of an $11 nightly with 10k guarantee though actually psko or not, just give it that name.

My ideas are all catered to having tournaments will big guarantees and big prize pools, as opposed to a ton of withered gtds.

It is difficult to guide players to these tournaments because they can use mobile, PS6 tabs, or PS7 filters. Any suggestions here are welcome.

Need some more opinions here. How does it feel? It is in the 13:30 $55+R and 13:30 $33+R. I'll expand it into lower buy-ins if the feedback is positive.

I played this 5,10$ hyper, and when I was at the FT-bubble, I looked at the lobby to check the other table. Then I saw some golden sign beside my 1/11 position, and when I moved my mouse-icon on it, it said "if you win this, you will get a prize".
I was so pumped to win a prize, shoving any 2 to get it, but after I finished that tournament, I had nothing but the 682$ ftw in my account.

It has had overlay five times since the middle of May.

Has had overlay four times in the past three weeks and many more times in the months previous.

We have a process we're continually refining when it comes to setting guarantees. I'm certainly not just sticking my finger in the air and taking a guess!

That aside, I've said that I will do what I can to not have to reduce guarantees in the summer. What I've done in the past two weeks:

• Removed under-performing satellites and regular guaranteed tournaments
• New structure for Action Hour
• New structure for regular rebuys
• Converted tournaments to PSKO in an attempt to bolster those around them (mostly off-peak)
• Ticket satellites to struggling tournaments
• Increased late registration in a number of tournaments from 60 to 90 minutes
• Created "Sunday Editions"
• Increased guarantees on a slew of satellites that only had 1 seat guaranteed
• Added a $55 1r1a hyper with 5 seats guaranteed at 13:59 for the Super Tuesday!
• Modified structure for the 19:30 $55+R [Turbo, Big Antes]

This is just off the top of my head!
