fwiw, i took these pictures back in 2010 with an iphone 4. That day had clear skies which resulted in some pretty neat pics. Maybe I could sell the pics to both samsung AND apple

I dont understand photography. I've lived with an undergraduate photography student (best friend) for a few years and I still don't. I think any moment worth living isn't worth captured. It might have been at one point but now its become pervasive and people are educated, it becomes a before-thought rather than an afterthought. I respect some things are visually exciting but it can be subjective. Some things are proven to be nice across cultures by scientific studies , however.

Reminds me of when I was with my cousin and aunt in a local pub a month back. My cousin was to leave in a few days to teach english in portugal and wouldnt see us for a while. My aunt said "savour the moment to remember" which didnt make any sense

You have a good point. I will say that my teenage kids love looking at pictures of when they were babies. Photographs can generate an interesting perspective on the present.

Nostalgia bro. Helps rekindle the memories. Like running through Grant Park to 1901. Don't need that photographed though.

brag - probably the best first date ive ever had

I would believe that depends on what you are going for, have you deducted anything of her personality to decipher which would be more optimal?\

On a more serious topic:

why wouldn't you call her up and see about monday? calling says two things:

1. I had a really good time.
2. I don't wanna wait a month to see you again.

since both those are true, call her up. even if she is busy and cant (likely as she is leaving for 3 weeks the next day) it still lets her know you like her. how is that a bad thing.
10-06-2013 , 05:18 AM
Solid TR, wp.

I believe kids these days don't call but text, at least over here. :-)
I would just suggest you would be available on Monday and if she cannot make it you'd be happy to vet together again when she gets back.
10-06-2013 , 05:21 AM
because from a theory standpoint calling up and asking to see her soon is more weak than strong.
while it's good to be aware of your actions and try to come off the best you can, i think too many people go too far and try to be some guy they will (or should) never be. (disclaimer: by far, more people don't go in that direction enough and get upset because 'nice guys finish last /buttcry')

if i really enjoyed my time with the girl and didn't want to wait 3 weeks to have a shot at seeing her again i'd strike up a small convo and throw out a "lets get a drink monday before you fly out", add a little witty push-pull line since you're probably good at those, being a pro comic

if she's into it she says yes, you have a good time. if she says no, she might actually be too busy or just not feel up to it and that shouldn't be taken as a bad sign at all - guys and girls will turn down dates with people they really like just because they aren't up for it.
if you want to ask, and you don't, you get to feel like a wang.

tl;dr: do whatever you want to do in life, just make sure you do it the smartest way you can

100%. If she was as into it as you think she was, a simple call or text isn't going to scare her away or seem like you're coming on too strong. If she's not up for it just wish her well on her work trip and that you hope to catch her when she gets back.

Pretty easy to over-analyse these spots. GL Romeo.
