not your fault for not knowing, but his brother passed that point some time ago. It's killing him now.

'Tis a sad day for a few here. mjcace, gtrhtr and myself will be in mourning for a few days imo.
Bulldogs live short, unhealthy, arthritic, often painful lives. They really aren't built properly, and probably be bred any more.

Oooops… they didn’t consider the sun when designing this wall…

This is the NEW College Ave bridge that just opened last weekend! Don't think they're going to make any changes since this bridge is suppose to be good for over 70 years!!!

agreed that is truly epic. I can already envision the city council discussion about the '**** and balls' bridge.

Now we have to change the saying from "Step on a crack.........."

to:

"Step on the tip, make your momma trip. Step on the shaft, yo mama go daft. Step on the sack, make yo mama do crack."

I'm still using the free empire poker tv. still works and I don't even care when my kid gets hold of a marker and draws on it. I'm hoping it will hold out for a few more years.

I havent noticed any slippage....do you mean in the quality of their products or the quality of their Genius Bar support? And yes, Dell FTL. A few years ago i bought a Dell 17in laptop for poker, a 15in macbookpro for music and a dell30 in for both. I even called Dell before buying the monitor to make sure it would be supported by the 17"s vid card and gave them the exact serial # of the computer so there could absolutely be no confusion. Result: monitor arrives, dell 17" wouldnt support the DELL monitor and apple DID even tho it was a year older....

so dont think im being dead serious. but i am sorta serious...hah

I'll take the machine that everything works on tyvm
1) see above

2) i hate the commercials too, they embarrass me honestly. but have you seen the new PC commercials?? they are so much worse imo, loaded with misinformation, misleading statistics, and ample gay phrasology such as "im a pc!" - and theyre clearly feeling threatened by Apples impending takeover of all the worlds electronics/technology!!!

3) the machine that everything works on is actually the intel based macs (all of them now..). I run windows and leopard on it so i truly have access to any and all software imaginable and yes there are many programs that run WAY smoother and faster on mac than on windows. its just a fact. ironically windows runs much more smoothly on my mac than it does on my dell and better than my dads $3k fujitsu piece of crap.

Re: latops.
Basically I've had those laptop freezaments since May this year, and really thought the problem was hardware related, but in the end it turned out to be Vista, cause eveything was fine after I switched to Win7. In the meantime Dell did sent someone to replace both motherboard and A/C adapter without being certain they were messed up, which seems like very good service to me.
So can only applaud Dell in that respect.
11-21-2009 , 09:08 AM
My dad uses Dell for his company and has never had any problems, everything was always replaced without questions
11-21-2009 , 10:22 AM
wait for the 10k breakeven stretch like all the cool ppl clown, those are the fun ones
11-21-2009 , 10:42 AM
yo te, i know a lot of giraffs who look like the horizon

from the guys in the 60s who play higher too as well as from your average 16s regularmoron

and you should be aware that i really know enough variance and swongs, but this simply kills me.and it simply doesnt feel to be related in any way to skill or strategy anymore man.
and i would really prefer a BE stretch which allows me to pay my rent because of RB/milestones.

I'm no expert on the subject but maybe try moving down to regain confidence?
11-21-2009 , 11:00 AM
Clown,

I'm very sorry to hear about your downswing. Feel free to msg me if you want to talk about it at all.

Everyone with basic suggestions for coping for CK,

These are some nice suggestions in the posts above such as this, undoubtedly all of which Clown has heard many times before.

Heed this advice. If you still want to share it, take it to the appropriate thread linked/provided for you, please. I imagine it would be a welcomed change there.

Dogs are considered 'seniors' when they turn 7 IIRC, though tons of different breeds have different expected lifespans, probably ranging from 8 years to 18+.
