What i the best way to handle the overpair with a dry flop oop like 2, 7, 9 rainbow. Say i have JJ and 3 bet pre flop and villian calls. I sometimes like bet small all the way to the river in fear of QQ-AA as it is in my opponent's range, and fold to a re raise. Should I just ship it if I'm at 15BB or less?

So I've decided to start grinding the turbo STTs. 6 Max or 9 max, which is better (in terms of player pools, and all that jazz)?

9m much softer, 6m more volume at higher stakes. Can't think of a single 9m turbo player that plays solely 9m that doesn't suck

Nah my intention is to play them during my uni timetable and such, and then when I have time free, grind the MTTs.

Are there any basic charts (for a starting idea) for 6max hypers, trying to get into them but finding any beginner material tough.

Also, whats the best program to analyze your plays, SNG Wizz/ICMizer?

Thanks

6max 300 chip super turbos, $5 buy in. I feel like I'm just burning through my bankroll on these, could the EV line calculation be off on HEM2 maybe? I know 2k is not a big sample for these and I am prepared to run below EV, just need to make sure the EV line is at least semi-accurate?

Nevermind...found the HEM thread

Take that ROI simulator, then put in the payouts for a good reg (1-3%). You will quickly see a $500 swing (not counting rakeback) is easily possible in $5 and even $2 games.

Love playing live cash games(NLH 2/3 & 2/5) but dislike tournaments and recently began playing at Bovada. Found the cash games online to be boring. Decided to play micro 9 handed turbo sit n gos and not only are they enjoyable but have managed to double my deposit thus far. Realizing I have many leaks what threads will help my game as a beginner?

Thx

I'm considering purchasing coaching, problem is I have no idea where is good.

Could anyone with some experience in this area direct me to a good coaching site(or a couple of them preferably)?

Thankyou!

Anyone have any recommendations for software for mass tabling hyper satellites? I'm specifically interested in anything that can help me quickly process bubble info like color coding for different stack sizes. I think HEM does this, but it doesn't update quickly enough to be practical.

If anyone is playing in the US market and is doing well - I'd love to chat with you. I'm looking to get back into playing SNGs and could use some advice on games, sites, tools etc. PM me back if interested. Thanks!

Are there some general/basic tips on how to beat the hyper-turbos on pokerstars (7$).
I just started playing there.

I've missed poker a bit and because of that I've been playing a bit of 9m turbo's lately. I didn't want to play cash because if I do play live occasionally it is tournaments so I figured I'll just let cash be a thing of the past and focus on sng's/mtt's (read: playing with more than 10bb is too difficult for me right now).

Anyway on to my questions:
- What's up with all the hate towards TN2, is it because of the price? Because I've been using it so far and it seems decent.
- What is generally considered a good amount of tables to play at the 9m turbo's. I've been playing 12 so far tiled, but I think I should switch to stacked, if so just 1 stack or more?
- Is there any topic regarding betsizing in different stages? So far I use 2.5bb in the beginning, then 2.25bb with 50/100 blinds , 2.1bb with 75/150 and just minraise after that.
- I've been checking out sharkscope and I see the big winners are still only winning around 10k this year so far. I'd imagine someone playing 30+ tables for a living should win more right, I know rakeback is not included, but still. Could it be because the big ones opted out? Or is it just dead there is no money in sng's anymore .
