How about some tournament week, that would interest mid-stakes grinders? You got MicroMillions for microgrinders, and all other tournament series are at least partly highstakes (granted, TCOOP had some medium buy-in tourneys but the variance is ridiculous). No need to make it COOP, but make like one week of 11$-109$ featured NLH-tournaments in March and one week of 11$-109$ features Omaha Hi and Omaha8 tournaments in April.

And make enough of them to keep people interested. Like 10 events featuring 2-3 central events per day. And some kind of "tournament week" leaderboard would be great, too!

ya event 1 is the poster child for value every year, but they dont run enough at the lowstakes despite an absurd player pool that would support a week of large field 7r/27.5fos (wheras 82rs just arent ever going to get very big fields by comparison)

That seems completely obnoxious to me; it is a COOP, it is supposed to be a special series with prestige behind it....who the hell cares if you binked a $22 6m turbo (can also fill in with most other events)?
not enough lowstakes games for the smaller bankroll grinders and not enough HS games for the pros....

TCOOP L-M-H ?
100 events not 50?
.......?

stars managed not to thrill anyone w the series, im sure some adjustments could be made that would be widely well recieved

+1

As there are more than 12 different formats in Pokerstars, these weeks could run throughout the year. Then some less popular games end up getting more attention too. And with leaderboards and variety of events people would love to participate in these series.

Q.What does the winner of a TCOOP event receive?
A.
The prize is two-fold. For starters, each event has a minimum guaranteed prize pool. On top of the cash, players will be competing for a special TCOOP Champion exclusive prize. We have not yet finalized the TCOOP Champion prize, but will do so soon, and post details here.

There will also be a “Player of the Series” leader board which will award 2014 SCOOP tickets to the top finishers.

this will be ever finalized? I'm just curious since the series already ended 23days ago and still no decisions about it

I wonder how many of those who ask for higher buy-ins have had 100% of themselves in this low-buy-in TCOOP? I think I know the rough per mill number already...
For sure, it's nice to sell most of your action with phat mark-up and swap a lot for these crapshots, and/or swap a lot, but the amount of fish would ofc be lower at even higher buy-ins. Seems really shortsighted and greedy to me.

IMO, buy-ins should simply be spread wider, with much more 27$-109$, and a few more 320$-1050$.

dude just compare it with other online series, the BIs are a joke. sure, its not supposed to be exactly the same but the difference is too big imo and a lot of people seem to agree.

also, nobody is saying that we should get rid of 215s and under and those all get big fields - i think a few 320-1ks here and there would do very well.

We seem to agree here.
Though, all the 82$ and 109$+R have essentially been bigger than 215$'s.
Must admit that I dislike rebuy-format for turbos, esp 2x and 3x with the add-on chasing, but that's just my personal opinion, and they ofc help to reach big guarantees.

Maybe 2x/3x Chances should get a chance in the next TCOOP, instead of these annoying 2x/3x rebuy's... Initial buy-ins could ofc be set a lot higher, and people could plan ahead on how many buy-ins they want to risk (or win in satellites), and when to not take another chance anymore. Would surely loosen up some blindlevels around 100/200 with shortstacks.

Lets say we have 50 TCOOP events + HR, a spread like this would be good, imo:

30 events of 27$-109$ / 7$-11$+R (including all variants at least once)
15 events of 162$ - 320$ / 55$-82$+R (only nlhe, 4-card omaha variants, and horse/8-game)
5 events of 530$-1050$ Freezeouts (3x nlhe, 1xplo, 1xO8; all of these on the weekend, ofc)
+
Mainevent NLHE

rebuys = less rake, which is pretty nice considering stars still rapes us in that regard. actually thinking about it, im pretty surprised that they havent abolished rebuys already.

there's a re-entry in SCOOP

2x Chance would have meant no rake for second chance...
At least for next TCOOP, those tourneys should be 2x chance instead of re-entry, imho.

How could a black jack event work? I mean you can literally download or write up a hand chart that tells you exactly how to play every single hand based on the math.

its a 100% solved game.

would we be up against other players or simply the house would card counting be involved or would a random shuffle stop this?

if Random shuffle and against other players not the house I am cool with this easy money or plus EV just copying hand chart with computer says yes/no mentality.
