If Stars is going to run another series it definitely shouldn't be another TCOOP.

i love turbos, but ya idk if we need another TCOOP. a turbo micro millions would be ok, but they already have that on full tilt with the upcoming MTOPS

honestly i think the setup right now is pretty good. TCOOP in late January. SCOOP in late May. WCOOP in September. i dunno if you can squeeze another series in there without killing the hype, mainly from rec players. look at how the popularity of FTOPS has declined but the SCOOP/WCOOP is still very popular

If they add anything, one of those 4 day WCOOP challenges seem like the best idea. That had a great turnout and had probably more hype than the TCOOP.

I agree with this. WCOOP challenge was a great way to placate the high stakes players and probably had a small effect on the ecosystem since a lot of recreational players likely stop playing over the holidays. Would love to see another one added if it fits anywhere.

TCOOP will always be fun.

-I appreciated that most of the PLO was 6-max or heads up. Gets me to play on a day I might otherwise skip!
-I'm sort of surprised it didn't have more KOs and SKOs. Looks like 4 out of 50 and one was heads up. It may be the appropriate amount but I expected a couple more.
-The buyin levels seemed appropriate. I'm glad a few higher ones were added into the final schedule.
-I think 6max+ shootouts should only be played either at very high stakes or in turbo form.

The schedule for SCOOP 2014 will be worked on very soon. As per usual, when we have a draft we're ready to share with players, I'll be here on 2p2 posting it and asking for feedback before we set it in stone.

There are no plans at this time for another series like any of the *COOPs.

Another WCOOP Challenge Series will come fairly soon. We're working on plans for it now, in fact.

Can you add some mixed games (i.e. O8/Courchevel) for that?

The only part of TCOOP that I even find worthwhile is the sats.

Well, the USA might not be able to play on Stars but the type of people who follow NFL in Canada/UK etc also probably heavily overlap with people who would play a TCOOP main event. I don't think it's that great of a weekend for that event anyways. This is along with the overlap with Aussie millions and EPT.lol.fr.

i agree

did anyone else finish TCOOP feeling a little disappointed with the schedule? Only 50 events, 31 of which were no limit holdem and a handful of those were ante up, hyper, big ante type games. Not saying that those events shouldnt be there, but I think there should have been more traditional 6-9 handed no limit games ranging from $33-$109

i wouldve liked more games that appealed specifically to me and less games i wont reg, i think we all would have

didnt like:
-for my preference of field softness/reg saturation and my own BRM 82r is too high regardless of format
-2x chance is a format i dont play above $27 because they havent implemented rebuy chips
-flhe is no fun everyone knows that
-5 card draw isnt worth the attention because of how negative my edge is against the v good players late
-2-7 td>>>NL 2-7 sd (to the extent i dont play sd while quite enjoying td
-the speedway is just the speedway leave it in red and schedule something interesting or let me go out for drinks
-of the 14 215s only 3 were normal (or better) 9/8maxes 03/KO 25/8max 46/warm up; all the heads up/ante up/2x chance/ shootout/zoom id have preferred as lower bis so i could gamble gamble in games i have no edge in, i only played the vanilla or hyper turbo 215s none of the weird ones

did like
-progressive super-knockouts are a blast and shouldve been scheduled daily and more often than not shorthanded
-event 1 is always a favorite along with shorthanded omahas and more in the 27-55 range wouldve been more desirable (once again the 82rs are too high)

i think the 50 game format is pretty light the average game length is less than half couldnt there be 100 games in the 10 day series?

add a $25.50 hyper hu shootout daily
add a $55 6m progressive SKO daily that alternates between hyper and turbo
add a 5-27r 2x/3x turbo daily
have 3 simultaneous 33 hypers with a best triple finish award
have minimum 3 different variants and 5 nlhe events daily

ya that goes without saying, but the point I'm trying to get across is I think theres more value in 33-109$ TCOOPs, for the general online poker player(pros and recs), compared to some of the other games stars had to offer.

I still think the bi's should be bigger, or at least offer a few more higher bi's. There wasn't a single FO with a buyin >$215 on a nonsunday during the entire COOP series, and there were only 3 total (4 if you count the 320 8game), one of which was the ME and the other the HRer. That seems completely obnoxious to me; it is a COOP, it is supposed to be a special series with prestige behind it....who the hell cares if you binked a $22 6m turbo (can also fill in with most other events)?

yeah 100% agree that the series can use some higher BIs.

at least a few mtts in the 320/530/109r would improve this series greatly.

I found the limit games in the TCOOP had next to no skill due to the quick structures, not sure what the fix might be ( perhaps start a bit higher levels and add a level or two in the middle??)

Also, i would really like a couple mixed events in the next WCOOP challenge.

for a series that only comes around once a year, hosted online, and turbo, I think having only 50 events is pretty damn weak
