such a difficult transition from 1 to 2. it hurts.
dont wear sunglasses. unless you are at the poker table and uncomfortably plutared. its dangerous to look direct at the sun but also sunglasses culture can impose you looking ablong at people if you're not careful. its impolite unless it hurts your eyes

I would never wear them at a poker table! tbh I'm not a fan in general. I don't like wearing hats, sunglasses, jewelry, etc... personally. but yeah I have weird sensitivities to many things, but of the major senses worst of all is taste and sight. Occasional odd reaction while driving where my eyes water uncontrollably and I can't see very well for a solid minute or two before the eyes adjust again.

I wear sunglasses a lot. They are my primary eye protection when cycling and I have a sensitivity issue with the sun after several years in the desert. IOW the gloom of Germany suites me fine.

I'd like some travelling advice fellas. Going to Europe for the first time in May with the wife and 9 year old stepdaughter. The child has always wanted to go to Paris so we are going to surprise her with the news this weekend. We will be able to go for 11-14 days. Went to a travel agent today and he requested a tour of 5-7 countries over 11-12 days. We didn't book anything but now I'm feeling like a rube if I do. Seems like 4-5 destinations in Europe should be easy enough to navigate without the help of a guided tour?
