couple venetian poker comp questions:

1) is it still $1 per hour?
2) do the points ever expire?
3) is there a list anywhere of what restaurants accept the comps from poker?

thanks.

1) we offer comps at $1, $1.50, and $2.50 depending on what game you are playing.
2) The points never expire
3) To redeem your comps, you must do so in the poker room. They are good for In Suite dining inside the poker room, Noodle Asia, The downstairs food court, and the Grand Lux Cafe.

Tommy,

It would be a lot more convenient if one can simply swipe their Grazie card at say NoodleAsia and have comps redeemed on the spot.. is this ever coming? Harrah's Total Rewards works like that..

Thanks

Hi Tommy,

I'm looking to book my room in the Palazzo during the from 22nd June till 10 July (during WSOP). I just want to clarify, whatever rates I get from the website (assuming they are under $400 during the week and $500 for the weekend), these will be discounted to $129 during the week and $179 for weekends at the checkout? Is there going to be any surcharge? I'm looking to get a bella suite, i.e. 2 queen beds for the above dates and also around 3 extra rooms for around 10 days.

I just want clarification because I assume the poker rate won't appear on my booking confirmation, so I don't want to be under the impression I'm paying poker rates, but when it comes to paying, I have to pay the full normal price.

Also, if I'm sharing with another guy who plays poker. Say we both play 6 hours on day 1, and none on day 2. Is this ok take the average of the two?

I look forward to your response. Thanks.

Hello,

I did answer this about 6 posts above yours. Yes, two people can qualify for the rate as long as both names are registered to the suite. I dont know what the rates will be in June and July, but right now they are $ 129 and $ 189. If you fail to meet the 6 hours of cash play per day average, then you will pay the full price for any days that you do not qualify for. Also, dont forget that there is a $ 17 a day resort fee charge added per day. If you have any more questions, please let me know.

There is no upgrade charge if you play 6 hours of cash per day. There is only an upgrade charge if you qualify for the suite rate playing in one of our DSE's.

Hey there, I'm sorry I don't have the time to read this entire thread because I'm on my way home posting from my iPhone and would like to know the following.

We're a group of 4 guys and would like to stay at the Venetian from the 3rd of March (check in 16PM?) till the 13th of March (check out 11AM).

We're planning on playing in the Venetian most of the time (read about requirements of 6 hours a day? do both players that share a room have to meet those requirements, or can either player book 3 hours a day to make a total of 6?) and would like to know how much the total of 10 nights would be for a std. Bella room.

Hope you can help us V_TD!

Hihi got it, took the time to read some of the above posts and that seemed to answer most of my questions, however when I checked the website for a week from the 3rd of March it didn't show the Bella rooms, does this mean there's no room?

I don't have a laptop at my proposal and both Venetian and Pallazo aren't easy to use on an iPhone.

Is palazzo cheaper than venetian? Does the poker rate apply at rooms at the palazzo? $129/$189 appears to be the Venetian poker rated prizes, what about a normal 2Q suite at palazzo?

Please call our suite reservations department and they can assist you with your suite rate. We will be able to give you the poker rate for either the Venetian or the Palazzo.

3----Some time ago, they changed to allow usage of comp credit at most restaurants, not just the handful Tommy mentioned. Someone please correct me if they changed back again to the short list.

I never understood this either. I won an event at Venetian and felt a lot of pressure to tip extra. I gave up the smaller ships for tip to the dealer at the final table, but thats it. I dont have an issue with tipping but when the tip is built into the buy-in then I do have an issue with that.
