To summarize...

Point Earnings:
  • 2 pts/hr at 1/2nl
  • 3 pts/hr at 2/5nl
  • 4 pts/hr at 5/10nl

In limit games, you earn 2 pts/hr as well (this includes the $7.50/15 HORSE game). No other higher limit games run on a daily basis, so I'm not sure about any other limit games. I think we can safely assume that you earn 2pts/hr at 1/2 PLO but I can't confirm anything about 2/5 PLO.

Card Clubs:
  • Player's Club - What you get when you first sign up - no fee - no point requirements or restrictions
  • Wolf Club - Earn 800 points in a 6 month period - keep the perks for the next 6 months, but you need to continuously earn 800 points during every 6 month period to keep it
  • Sagamore - Earn 1600 points in a 6 month period - same rules as above.

How much to play to get to each level (playing 1/2nl):

Wolf Club: 400/hrs of play --> 67 hrs/mo --> 17 hrs/wk
Sagamore: 800/hrs of play --> 134 hrs/mo --> 34 hrs/wk

I haven't really been able to find any info how you qualify for the different levels of Dream Cards at the 'Woods so I'm not sure if the Gold and Platinum levels are even attainable playing mostly poker.

I do occasionally play Blackjack and Craps for a little entertainment, but not often enough to effect my rewards level I wouldn't think.
Well the drinks at the lounge are pretty good but the food is not good at all unless you really don't care what you eat. Its basically cheap buffet food. As far as the rooms once in a great while they mail you a offer for a free room. Other than that your best bet is to get the poker room rate at $79, because the wolf card rate is $139 or something like that. So basically the only perk to the wolf card is the free drinks.

I forgot to say that I started an interest list for a PLO/NL game on Monday night and got absolutely no takers.

Me and another person who post here saw the list but it had only one set of initials on it so we didn't bother.

Where was MS to put some fake names on there?!

excellent breakdown, thanks.

this doesn't seem so outrageous to me, the hours are pretty attainable even just for committed weekend players.
7 or 8 hrs may be tough, but there has to be a way to reward the daily grinders.

as a non local, could care less about free drinks and food, the 2 weeknight comp rooms at the woods are the best thing going for either room, cause they don't keep anyone from staying at woods but playing at mohegan if they feel like it

I agree, the two free rooms per week that FWs offers in addition to the other perks tilts the card battle significantly in FWs favor...especially if you live more than an hour away.

However, there has been a lot of discussion about FW suspending many of these free room offers for July and August. If this continues to be the case I guess it goes back to a coin flip.

FW can take away my 2 free rooms per week, but don't leave me completely dry...just 1 or 2 per month would have satisfied me. If Mohegan ever starts offering free room deals...I know they'd win me over. They have a lot less rooms so I guess it's only a dream.

Hey, I said I would be in if it got going, who doesn't like 4-handed NL/PLO?! I have never played PLO in my life, so I would just try to steal blinds .

Meh, maybe I'd play if we could convince them to go half rake. Or quarter rake, since it is 5 or fewer.

I have tomorrow afternoon off...*tempted to take the trip*. I just checked my status level, 150 short of Wolf Club, woooo!

You should always put your name on, then others might as well. If a few other players had the same thought that may have been enough to get the game going.

Yeah, it is a standard expression meant to not deter fish from games...in this case, the person being pointed out as the fish is...hey...wait a minute!

Who says 'Tap the aquarium?' That's so weird. It's like saying "I'm all inwards!" when you shove.

otherwise known as "don't tap the glass"

I think you're OK considering there are no great white sharks in captivity (minus Jaws 3 and we know how that ended)
