I guess I should also ask how handicapped friendly they are... he broke his ass bone and is in a wheelchair right now.

If you see us tomorrow night, I'll be the stocky guy in glasses with him trying not to laugh about it.

chicagojoe, a well known dealer at the shoe told me they changed the buy ins for the 2/5 and 5/10 games. the 2/5 is 1k max and the 5/10 is now uncapped which is awesome.

How deep is yours, and since you always seem to jump on me for asking questions about htis game it leads me to believe you dont play in this game and most likely got crushed in it.

I have heard the same rumor for the past two weeks. As of today the max buy-in for 2-5 is $500 and the max buy-in for 5-10 is $1500.

Having a 200 max on the 1-2 games has worked well for the Shoe. On weekends there are 9-12 games usually running in the evening. I feel that by increasing the max would have a negative effect over the long term. What I would like to see is a 1-3 game added with a $500-600 max.

LOL, pretty defensive aren't you

You ask about the game, and I ask you a simple question...but since you didn't answer - i'll suggest you don't play in it.

I guess I am just confused, if you in fact play in it, your attempts at answering my questions are surprising. Wouldnt you encourage new players to take a chance up top. My BR is not what it should be for 5/10, I personally wouldnt be able to play completely comfortable at that game with out at least 50k. I play 2/5 at 27k as of today. I am just looking to give it a shot, and see how I stack up. I am more than aware that it will be a big challenge. I am just looking to get as much info on it as possible before then.

Why would I want to lure you in the game... This is a poker forum, where people learn from each other... There are plenty of morons who just roll up into that game.

How often are you sitting in 2-5?

It is a forum where people learn from each other, I agree. But yet you have yet to offer anything to this forum, other than nonsense.

I play 2/5 at Horeshoe once or twice a week.

Who said my roll came strictly from the Shoe, you sir are a moron, please refrain from replying to any of my posts as I will yours. You obviously have no actuall good intentions on here, and I am done with you.

You are pretty sensitive.

So you ask about 5/10 - I ask you a couple of questions and you wig out.

Over reaction I'd say

WHO CARES?! Both of you guys stop talking to each other about it and move on. Or even better why don't you guys set some time aside and play on the same table at the shoe and then give a little report back

Why would NDfan want you to know who he is...if he takes his shot he does. I wouldn't say how i got my BR either...big tourny scores have pics..no need for people to know who you are(or you are not some guy with a wad of cash and no poker thinking playing that 5/10 game). We are in the biz to make money!! Plus in the 2 handfulls of times i have played 2/5 @ the 'Shoe it seems a heck of a lot softer than the 1/2 game there. But that's just my opinion.

I think 1/2 and 2/5 are about the same. Its when you make the leap to 5/10 you see the difference

HAHA...at least from my experiences playing the 2/5 game is alot looser than that at 1/2. People calling 20-25 preflop raises with crap..etc. As far as the 5/10 game goes...I'll just say the players there are alot more "creative" in their play. I have played quite a few tournaments with Dan, Pat, etc(as I have been forced to play mainly tournies in the past year)..and gotta love getting 4 bet with aces pre-flop and other moves etc. But I have also sweated some of those guys when they have played their primary game and the play there is definitely more advanced than that of the 2/5 game.
