Anybody have any idea how many entrants these tournaments this past week have been fielding? I'm thinking about heading down for tomorrow's 11am $230 Bounty with my boy.

Any ballpark estimates for how many entrants?

Time away won't hurt your rating. I'd expect you'll continue to receive the same offers for quite some time until you do something to change it.

I only got TT for free in August. Not bad though and since I am still going to be away on active duty I won't be there anyway, hopefully i'm back home in September and I can celebrate with free MGM!

Ok I'm a borgata player but I live in ny. I'm pretty much 2 hrs and change from both Borg and FW. The traffic going through Brooklyn and staten island at anytime of day other than after 9pm is usually disgusting and it has been adding an hour or more to my trip which is already long enough as it is. My question is for anyone who travels to FW from long island queens or the Bronx, is the ride realitivly good while traveling at non rush hour time. I haven't been to FW in years and really just want to avoid any traffic if possible.
Thanx in advance

What games do you play? Have you tried going to Sands or Parx? Might be less traffic to there and also shorter

rough turn out for the 400 on Thursday-yikes. Serves them right though-IMO, not sure how they think they could get a good turnout up against the back half of the WSOP not to mention all the regional series that have been running lately at Mohegan, Borgata etc

Man, I remember when I first started going to Foxwoods back in 2006/2007ish, Sit N Gos were all I played. They ran all the time and they were my bread and butter as I learned cash game strategies. I don't really know how they managed to almost completely die off at Foxwoods in the intervening years.

Was it moving the tournament area upstairs? Changing the structure? Increase in amount of daily tournies?

I think it was moving the tournaments upstairs. I'm hoping if everything moves upstairs they will go more often

I used to drive from queens once a week, usually no traffic, average drive time 2.5 hours, cost gas and tolls round trip in a Toyota Camry $50, now I take the Asian bus from flushing which runs almost every hour round trip cost is $10 with a $2 tip on the way home, and you get $10 food voucher and $45 in match plays, so about $30 in EV - $12 cost = +$18 EV taking bus for a $68 swing not including miles on car which don't matter toe since car is old.

When I was there last week I believe I saw a tournament on the schedule, something along the lines of a $400 entry with two day 1s in July. Looked like a stand-alone, not part of a series. Have they released any more information on this? Anybody know anything about it?
