I'd suggest Alta Strada, as that's the nicest non-steakhouse there IMO. Not that the steakhouses don't have good alternatives to meat, but the selection would be limited.

Does she eat fish? If so, Craft always has yummy fish dishes. Alta Strada has plenty of vegetarian dishes

She HATES fish. She eats chicken/turkey sometimes and OCCASIONALLY beef but never any seafood of any kind

Hmmm, I just looked at the alta strada menu online and found very few dishes without meat. Looks like a fantastic place though...

Hahahahaha! That is almost reverse vegetarian!
They have pizzas, salads, a yummy eggplant parm dish and my fave the spaghettini aglio con olio.

Some suggestions for GF:
Alta Strada:
Antipasti: Eggplant, fresh mozarella or (especially) fresh ricotta. See if you can talk her into trying the Crunchy Veal Meatballs with you. (I know, it's veal...but at least one of you will love them.)
Salads are good (I think they'll leave off the pancetta if she objects)(what a shame.)
Pastas, especially the mushroom ravioli....
Chicken Milanese

Craft: No veg appetizers, but salads (esp Caesar and Beet salads) are good.
Their chicken is definitely excellent, my wife has ordered it 3 times.
Vegetable sides at Craft also excellent, expecially the Cipollini and the Spinach Gratin.

Burke's: Few vegetarian appetizer choices (Onion soup?), but the iceberg lettuce w/ tomato, onion and blue cheese is excellent (and enormous). Haven't tried their chicken. Vegetable sides (including Mac+Cheese) are good, she could probably make a meal of three of these, sharing with you...

Or if she'll "occasionally" eat beef, make one of those occasions either Burke's or Craft and get her (and yourself) a really excellent piece of beef.

If you do go to one or more of these, I hope you'll favor us with a review. Enjoy!

I normally would have used a bacon themed nick, but I couldn't think of one that was also degrading. Hell, after this, I might have to make my avatar a picture of the plush bacon my wife got me for Hanukkah.

I know, right? It's weird. She calls herself a "flexitarian". She's not opposed to the idea of eating meat, she just doesn't prefer it. She hates all seafood though, won't even try it... and will never eat a steak. It's the texture she doesn't like, doesn't wanna chew it. Basically twice a year she has a hamburger and that's the beef she'll eat. She eats chicken at home cause most of the things I cook have it, before she moved in with me she probably didn't eat much.

But we're getting off topic now so should probably not discuss further ITT

I got point offers for April. I apparently got uncut off. Only once a month but better than nothing
Quote

My only offers are 20% off a hotel room April 20th (which I believe everyone gets), and 10 points/week for each week in April (I got 15/week in March, WTH?)

The rest of the room offers are online now too. If you don't see 'em, you ain't got 'em.

I got 20% off on the 20th and was dropped down to $15 twice per month. Asshats.

I also got a stop and shop giftcard. Any guesses on how much/little that will be? I will set the over/under at $10

Is it possible to get a printed report of all the rewards points you've ever earned if you go to the rewards desk?
