Yeah booking ahead and right away is the only way to go. Because everyone else does it, if you wait even a week, they could be all out of them.

Anyone going to be down Tue/Wed/Thur this week? My usual dining partner is deserting me after Tues.

Rooms, YES! Doesnt make any sense though. 0och has played way more than I have over the past few months and he didnt receive room offers and they lowered his weekly points. He gets biweekly points now. How stupid is that?

The offers may not have caught up to his play yet. I think it can lag as much as 5-6 months.

Apparently this is not the case...When I was there yesterday playing 5-10 some guy bet 500 into an 800ish dollar pot on the river of a board that had 4 diamonds with the 7 of diamonds making a straight flush. I overbet jammed and he insta-called for around 4k total with the 9 of diamond thinking he had the straight flush, but in actuality he actually misread his hand (I think?)

I actually felt kind of bad after the hand because he seemed like a nice guy and a 4k misread is pretty brutal.

Yup my play has increased all year and still no free rooms. The prices on my rooms also kept increasing monthly. I think i did something to offend the tribe because they also just switched my points to 15 points every two weeks instead of 10 weekly, lol

The bi-weekly offer is odd, must be a new thing they're doing to certain ranks. There are people on the Facebook page complaining about it.

It seems so random. I only went once in November for two days (had to pay for my room), played a tournament one day and earned about 19 points the other day.

Now I have Sun-Thurs for December, two nights per week, and my points are still the full 15 per week.

Maybe they decided that there was money to be made off me because I blew a few hundred at the MGM Spa

i doubt he misread his hand, ive seen the most absurd calls in the foxwoods games at 10-25 and 5-10, thats why the 10-25 game is so dead, only so many stupid 10-15k calls fish can make

2/5 NL yesterday late afternoon. Anyone see the guy turn over his pocket aces after a all-in 4-bet pre-flop? His opponent hadn't acted yet, but I'm guessing the guy with AA just wanted the chips in the pot, not a full double-up.

His opponent called, LOL, and lost.

Do you know what the bet amounts were? Depending on what was out there already, calling the all-in may not have been -EV (and not LOL-worthy).

Epic good. Just shoved and flipped his cards? Did his opponent not see?

There's no money in poker ...

Lattimer, you’re right, how much was in the pot is important. I don’t remember exactly. But something like…

Stack Sizes
Tired guy ~$900
New player with AA ~$300
Whole hand was heads-up. All of the action is pre-flop.

TG opens for $25
AA raises to $75

TG re-raises to $150
AA goes All-in for $300 total

(Pot has $450 in it, TG has to call another $150)

TG asked him what he had, and at first AA says he has ace king. But a couple of seconds later, he flipped his AA face-up (I'm pretty sure his opponent saw the AA). TG gets a little mad, and says, “You lied to me”.

I’m not a pot odds expert, and it’s not the worst call I’ve ever seen, but still pretty bad.
