She said well they won't say anything anyway cuz they want you to stick around. I said OK then I will leave. I don't want to "hold up any action."

Took a walk sat a different table and turned 100 into 700. Thank u dealer.

I played the 1/2 PLO8 on tuesday night after consuming lots of alcohol. If any1 was at that table it was a nitfest. I was up at first then ended up down like 12 bucks. No1 liked my idea of straddliing for a round to build huge pots. then table broke once one guy left and it caused everyone else to. It was a joke.

Gotta shove and feel good, right? Aggressive chip-leading CO could easily be making a move with plenty worse. Alas, he woke up with aces. Six hours of work only to get coolered for the 2nd time in as many Mega-Stacks I've done

Something I learned though: Too many Foxwoods players are making a seriously bad habit out of limping with JJ+/AJ+. So for future reference, watch yourself if you're playing with habitual limpers.
This +1000000. It's thrown me off the past couple of Mega Stacks which led to my very early exit.

Yea I was next to the guy with the youk shirt. I am a bit heavy, and I never shut up. To be honest, I remember the hand more than you in particular. I was a bit tilted cause I made a move the hand before with A8 and had to call off when a player from behind woke up with Ks and shoved. Actually I think that was the hand right before you got the Js.

Just had the $45 pre fixe menu at Craftsteak and it was fantastic (choice of salmon or 6oz fillet mignon, got the salmon). The previous night I had the 14oz NY dry aged at David Burke and ordered it medium, but it came out closer to rare than even medium rare, which was pretty disappointing. The popovers, however, were out of this world.

Busted 134 in the 340, weird hand where my opponent had me marginally covered and would have been among the chip leaders if not for 4 outer being hit...pretty sick stuff. Just got back home after 3 days at Foxwoods playing cash too, mostly 2/5 and some 20-40 which I had never played before but is an interesting game to say the least.

Anybody have any idea how the waiting lists are going to be for 1/2 and 2/5 NL today. I am heading up this morning just wondering if there will be extra long list due to the megastack tournies. Thanks.

obviously, the fact that i've never been to FW means i've never played live poker...

but yes i will be drunk at some point when i am playing 1/2nl or 2/4lhe or whatever they have. look for the drunk guy playing 75% of his hands. i'll probably be sober for 20/40 though so maybe i'll see you there as well....

do they have 2/4lhe? would like to play as low as possible when inebriated.

they have 2/4 limit. basically only good for getting drunk and taking a shot at the jackpot.

I played 1/2 PLO8 today today and it was pretty good. A few of the players at the table liked to straddle and the whole table basically agreed to straddle for 1 round. I was UTG the first hand of the straddle and someone in EP had raised to $10, got a bunch of calls, and the pot ended up being $80 going to the flop. I was a little miffed though because the guy to my immediate right did not straddle after the rest of the table did, and didn't object when the rest of the players agreed to straddle for 1 round in the first place. The dealer said that FW cannot enforce the straddle, blech.

Overall though a good game. It was pretty loose, quite a bit of preflop raising but a lot of limped pots as well. A lot of people were interested in seeing flops and there ended up being some really big pots. I played very tight (so yes, anyone who was in the game that might be viewing this, I was the nitbag in seat 6). My nut peddling strategy worked out quite alright for me though as I ended my 4 hour session +$43.

Fun game, hope to see enough people interested the next time I go so it's spread again.

Does anyone know what the status of the current $560 mega stack tourney is? Are they down to a final table yet?

I won't. I'm a nit away from the poker table as well. Yes, the other players were probably happy to see me in that game, but I can hold my own despite having strict starting hand requirements.

What name does mike post under? I played with him all of day 1. Hes a hell of a player and a funny kid. My table one draw was a bitch with him, and ronnie the foxwoods pro who got 24th in the main event, plus two regular 5/10 players. I have no idea how I even made it out of there, finished 62 overall.

What does UMP stand for? You posted in one of my BBV threads when I started posting here a while ago, and I just remember your avatar from that thread. Just thought it was funny to see your sn/avatar pop up again after a few years haha

Thanks for the kind words. Im gonna guess that you were the guy immediantly on my left on day 1? Yea that was a very poor table draw for both of us. It was a nice learning experience for me though. I dont play many tournaments because of the time investment. I much prefer the "atomesphere" of online 6max cash. BTW, I had 98o during our hand BVB when I 3bet folded the QT3r flop.

Lol I didn't think you would fold an overpair. I was hoping you might go crazy with some mediocre hand like that. I really had Q10 though. And the hand when you raised in middle positiona and I over shoved behind you I had pocket Qs. You did play well though, I was impressed. Once I moved from that table I was able to breath which was nice... Once again congrats, maybe I will see you around some more. You play at woods often?

I played for just a couple of hands the Dealers took forever to count pots and read hands !!!! There was an old lady that could not see or read her hands and just really slowed the game down.

The play was really crazy! I saw 6 players call $100 PF and then 4 players all in after... a nice $1800 pot shipped to KKK99 full house (no low). Just about 6 hands later, I Raise $40 (pot) PF with AA24 double suited.... I got 6 callers Flop K9Q rainbow, I had to check/fold after.... 4 players allin, 2 players flopped set and KKKQQ another nice $875 pot.....
