What I don't understand is that the $340 "Mega Stack" tournament gives you 15,000 in chips, while the Daily Tournament they run EVERY Friday night at 6pm that has a $340 buyin gives you 20,000 in chips. !!!

Granted, the levels are twice as long (40 minutes instead of 20) and there are more levels (ie, the Daily Tournaments don't have 150-300/25, 500-1000/100, etc), but still.

I don't think satty's run too often but I'm only there on weekends for the most part.

I don't know much about the deep stack tourneys but the ones on fridays seem to get 100~ish runners consistently.

FW has a 4/8 O8 running almost all the time. As much as I love the game of O8, the FW 4/8 game is full of grumpy old regs who like to complain a lot, so I got sick of it after a while and stopped playing it. You might have a different experience

The Bellisimo will math any rate Sunday - Thursday. I have stayed there twice in the last 2 weeks and both times they brought the rate down to $59 from $99 becuase I told them the super 8 motel in Groton was $55. They didn't give me any problems and I didn't have to haggle or anything. I do this whenever Foxwoods is sold out last minute or if Foxwoods rates are too high.

The megastack series? Yes it is based on availability though so you may want to get on that. Just call them up. Lowest limit craps I have seen is 5 dollars. See a lot of ten dollar tables though.

yup and depends on buyin for the $340 it was $13.60..which is fine imo better then waiting in line come Tuesday morning and lets me get my seat when i get there tomorrow

Went to MS a few weeks ago on a Sunday and wanted to play a couple of sngs. The guy at the cage said they had 3 available but I would be the first to sign up on all of them. I asked how quickly they fill and he said they hadn't run one all day.

Is it this way at Foxwoods too? I was with someone who didn't want to leave Mohegan, so I just played limit but prefer sngs. I just don't want to wait all day for a chance a game will fill up.

If they do have sngs that run, how long do you usually have to wait on a weekend? What is the best/busiest time for them?

Maybe its because the megas are coming....but they had 10/20 nl over the weekend....and 5/10 PLO hi/lo going last night.....THAT was a big game. 3 of the stacks had 12k in front of them

Is there late registration for MegaStack, and if so, up until what level? I normally get up at 2 in the afternoon and getting there for 11am living 90m away is going to be a huge bitch.

The Foxwoods Killer has committed suicide.

The Foxwoods references in the article:

Markoff was arrested on April 20, 2009, as he and his fiancée, Megan McAllister, were en route to Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, where they had reserved a $88 room for the night.

ABC News reported that Markoff visited Foxwoods on April 2, 12, and 15, 2009. On the first two visits, he hit the blackjack table with money investigators believe he stole from his victims. He robbed the Rhode Island woman on April 16, 2009, while on his way home from Foxwoods, investigators said.
