actually asked the girl behind the counter when getting my 10 weekly points today....she had no clue.....guess will just have to wait and see.......but was wondering what specific info someone on this thread might have to make them so certain this comp was about to be ending for Poker Players.....
1st - it's just the pending plan, it could change between now and then.
2nd - i'm not going to reveal how I know this, let's just say I have friends in high places.
3rd - it's not that "poker players are losing their points"... anyone who would ordinarily get <30 pts for their weekly offer are simply not going to get them anymore. That goes for everyone, not just poker players... though it obviously includes all "just poker" players.
4th - the Dream Rewards desk people don't know anything. They can only tell you what offers are in the computer for you.

They's get me for 3 full days of action at the tables. So they take away Sunday, and I would use Thursday, get there early play all day and go home late Friday night. In that case i would use one free day and get in two heavy days of action. Now I have 3 days to choose from which don't to me too much good but if i use them, there isn't a busy room to show up to, with very little chance of plo or plo8 running or having it filled when it does get called.
I always made me wonder the intent of what they wanted from me, if they take off the days of the week i usually would sign up to go? Do they want me there or just tempt me with nights that were not good nights for me to play? I mean if i am getting Sundday and use the room for a 6 hour nap and shower when my game breaks at 4 am, gets going again at noon, isn't that what I should be doing? or what they want me to do. Never made sense
...
I always thought too that while poker may be le least profitable area, it does get a lot of gamblers into the facility, and winning or losing you'd think gamblers would find an occational side venture to a slot machine craps table dinner, etc... would be welcome, not counting bringing a signifiacant other that has no idea of poker but is happy to drop a couple of hundred into a slot machine a fun way to spend the afternoon.
The room offers go by your player rating. There are 6 groups of offers:
Sun-Sat
Sun-Fri
Sun-Thu
Mon-Thu
Mon-Wed
none
They don't analyze your play to the point where they say "hey, he always comes on Sundays. Let's take his Sundays away! etc". The system isn't that complex.
I agree that the poker room brings in ancillary revenue, via spouses, etc. But again, the system isn't very complex, and has no way of factoring that in.

The website is glitchy sometimes (moreso lately for some reason). I bet they're still in the system. Call and find out.

If not we'd have to stay offsite at a cheaper hotel. Please PM me if you're interested. Thanks.
I can vouch for him.
