2nd - i'm not going to reveal how I know this, let's just say I have friends in high places.
3rd - it's not that "poker players are losing their points"... anyone who would ordinarily get <30 pts for their weekly offer are simply not going to get them anymore. That goes for everyone, not just poker players... though it obviously includes all "just poker" players.
4th - the Dream Rewards desk people don't know anything. They can only tell you what offers are in the computer for you.

The room offers go by your player rating. There are 6 groups of offers:
Sun-Sat
Sun-Fri
Sun-Thu
Mon-Thu
Mon-Wed
none

They don't analyze your play to the point where they say "hey, he always comes on Sundays. Let's take his Sundays away! etc". The system isn't that complex.

I agree that the poker room brings in ancillary revenue, via spouses, etc. But again, the system isn't very complex, and has no way of factoring that in.

The website is glitchy sometimes (moreso lately for some reason). I bet they're still in the system. Call and find out.

You can pre-register. You sign the slip and pay for your room, but check-in later. You don't get a specific room assigned at that time, but you're acknowledged as present, and won't have to worry about losing your room because they thought you were a no-show. You might be able to block off a specific room, but that varies.

Chopped up the $120 6pm last night 3 way. Certainly helps for the buy-ins next week.

Whenever I go anywhere and want to do an early check in I tell them that I have someone who is sick and really needs to lay down. So if the room is clean they usually have no issue letting us in.

Two Trees was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. No air conditioning in the room I was in, maintenance came at 3am, and tried telling me they have energy saver rooms, and that was as cold as the A/C gets. Was a nightmare, eventually I fell asleep from sheer exhaustion.

You get what you pay for.

Whats the price difference between Two Trees and Bellissimo Grande? Or I'm not sure if your getting comp'd at TT... But Bellissimo has comp limo service to FW Sun - Thur until 11:45 PM and Fri - Sat until 2:45AM ... I've stayed there in the past a few times and the prices were very reasonable IMO...

I have Verizon and have never lost reception anywhere, but I cannot compare any other services to my knowledge ... I think about 3 years ago I had T-Mobile and I lost reception many times but from what I hear T-Mobile revamped their towers in the Northeast but I may be wrong..

Can't say anything about two trees, but bellisimo sucks horribly in every way possible... beds suck/super uncomfortable, walls are paper thin you can easily hear the TV in the next room and there's huge signs inside each bathroom saying "if you make too much noise we will fine you 750$ and call the state police"

Yeah I can't compare it to TT neither but I have nothing bad at all to say about Bellissimo. Maybe I just got lucky with my room, time, room location, etc? But it was super quiet and beds we're awesome. Maybe things have changed though. How long ago did you go?

If I am staying off site, the best room hands down is the Days Inn in Mystic. Affordable, and the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.

Last time I stayed there was 8-9 months ago, will never go back. For the record I'm a real light sleeper, so the uncomfortable beds prob won't be an issue for everybody, but everything else is. I did stay on a Friday though, so I'm sure it's not as noisy during the week.

Being a light sleeper or not it doesn't matter, they should be able to accommodate everybody. Unfortunately sound is an issue at many Inns/Hotels/Motels,etc especially on the weekends and depending on the location of your room. Appreciate your input thought, maybe things have changed since the last time I've stayed, now that I get comp'd rooms at MGM I'll be staying there for the first time this weekend, anyone have some input on the MGM deluxe rooms?

As Ed mentioned, next time I have to stay off site I will check out Days Inn in Mystic, I get employee discounts through my work with them also. Def. going to have to check that out.
