Thanks Caveman. Hey, i was at Firekeepers Sunday also. Hope it stays packed all this week. If they show they can run a solid event it will only grow, they have another event scheduled in August. i'm looking at my work schedule and going to try to spend the day there on Wednesday. Anyone else looking at playing this week?

I'll be up there tonight for the qualifier, and then buying in direct if I somehow fail to qualify.

I will be there Wednesday trying to qualify. If I get in I was thinking of playing Saturday/Sunday, but if Saturday is sold out I will pick Thursday or Friday, in that order. No chop LL if I play Thursday for something reasonable sounds good to me.

So Saturday is sold out at 100? i checked the MSPT Site and they list Aug 17-25 for next event, As an aside i also looked at Soaring Eagle and the Heartland Poker Tour returns there May 1st thru 20th

Not sold out. Think they are just trying to balance it and get more people into the earlier day 1s.

You might still be able to play the Saturday event according to Caveman. Sucks about the qualifier rules. I did not know there were going to be buy in limitations either.

It's a crap rule, but they don't want qualifiers on Saturday because most people that buy in for full price will want Saturday.

So there are 3 more $250's this week and we can conclude 60 minimum to advance. Also,since there were 9 $250's there should be 180 players, at least from them. I know it hard to put a finger on but i do wonder how many will pony up the $1100 to direct buy?
