Frank you were at MCC??? wtf I wanted CCR for life rolls.

Coach could have had no exaggeration, 4k+ in like 4-5 hours. It was sick. Took some beats, but table was fun and people like gambling while they are having a good time.

The tax man also gets all the data for tournament cashes. After taxes and costs ROI is like a muni bond.

It begins, the revolution.

A man frustrated with snow removal efforts at his apartment complex shot at a snowplow Tuesday morning, shattering the windshield, police said

A 39-year-old man was arrested after shooting a round at the snowplow driver around 7:30 a.m. at the Valley Ranch Apartments in the 1400 block of Oak Valley Drive of Pittsfield Township.

Pittsfield Township police Deputy Chief Gordy Schick said the man was upset because the snow wasn't being removed from around his wife's vehicle.

This has been true for a long time. Even the old timers didn't play very many tournaments. Seriously to even make up for getting knocked out of a tournament you have to cash pretty high in the next one, let alone get any profit. But tournaments give you a chance to face many different players in a controlled environment (not able to reload (unless it's a rebuy tourney, then there are rebuy donks just looking to knock you down)). Cash has always been better, but tourneys can give out a nice boost to your roll if you hit.

Cool article. I see pros disputing the analysis on Twitter and in the comments but not the conclusion. Haven't read the two plus two thread that must exist. Obviously if this gets blessed as even somewhat statically accurate, tournament fields should start going down. Not sure if cash games will get juicier for a while though. Cash games for the grind, tournament shots for the big score imo.

Lack of internet poker and no promotion of the game is what drives the numbers down. What most of the pros seem to be worrying about is people not buying action in the staking thread because of it.

80 players playing poker for up to 5 hours for $40 each, and there's not as much money to be made as in cash games? Who'da thunk?
