I've done this a few times and always get yelled at by friends for lighting $$$ on fire LOL. Do you know any websites that talks about whether to fire a 2nd bullet after bagging only say 10bb or 15bb etc? Thanks

Heading to Borgata this weekend. Will be playing 1/2 cash. Never been in a card room during a big event. Excited and curious about what I will encounter. I've found small tournament players at foxwoods to be pretty soft target in cash games, too willing to get too much in pf with too little. But I wonder if that applies with bigger events. What do you all think? Any impact at 1/2 cash at all?

1/2 probably not unless they decide to go low rolling which I've seen from time to to time. Like drunk 1/2. Or if they're waiting for a 2/5 game. 2/5 will be impacted. You do get spewy players dumping after they get knocked out, but you also get a lot of pros who can play cash.

One other thing I should have mentioned is there lists. Could be 60-100 deep waiting list on 1/2 and 2/5 especially during the opening event. They'll definitely bring extra dealers on but it's never enough. Alot of people end up going to Harrahs to play. So start your sessions early or you may not get a seat at Borgata

Doesn't look safe! There is a free jitney between the 3 marina crasinos.

Most of the bloggers & the TD Tab are on Twitter so I would just DM them there.

The walk through the field is fine, I've done it alot at all times of the day. You just have to leave Harrah's from the valet garage. The only dangerous part is walking out of the valet gargage as they drive like maniacs so be careful there and crossing the street as their is no cross walk light.

you can do that walk easy through the field or along the boardwalk. no shady characters are hanging out along either route (neither are frequently traveled at night). jitney will also zip you over for a few bucks. i'm probably more safety conscious (ready overly concerned about rough neighborhoods) than most ac regs and i have no problem with the walk between harrahs and borgata

Tier Credits are 75 per dollar of comps.

If I clear $75 Express Comps bonus this month, does this mean I will get additional 9,375 Tier Credits?

Bonus comp dollars didn't count toward card level pre-Mlife. There's no indication that they do now, so they're probably just Express Comps with no Tier Credits.

With the impending deluge of players this weekend, let's talk about getting and keeping a seat at the table. I have a few questions...

How long can you be up from the table before they pick up your chips?

What is a dinner list? How does that work?

Will floors still give you transfers? What's the best way you have found to get a table transfer? I play 1/2.

About an hour. Each incoming dealer should pitch an ABSENT button to any stack that doesn't have a body behind it, and after a stack has two buttons it can be picked up. If you play one hand with a new dealer, so you don't get your first button until you've been gone about half an hour, you can in theory be gone about an hour and a half.

If you go on the dinner list, you pick up and give up your seat. When you come back, you get the next available seat. You can be gone an hour and a half on weekdays, two hours on weekends. This is coordinated with the floor. (The Poker Guide says pick up and then go see the floor, but it makes more sense to me to check with the floor first.)

Yes, if you want to change tables, talk to the floor for your area. They may tell you you need to wait until they have someone to replace you. They won't look favorably upon just getting up and moving yourself.

Easy walk, just watch out for puddles in the field. Walkway along the water is longer but dryer, and has better views, along with some educational information about the critters one might see.

Too cold? Huh? I call it invigorating.
