Yeah, a list sometimes gets going for 6/12 but usually by the time they get enough names for a game, most of them are already in 8/16 and don't want to switch or have left the casino.

Can anyone fill me in on how many 5-500/10-500 games run typically on weekdays/weekends?

Sorry if this was already discussed, I dont feel like reading the whole thread.

Also, what is comp'd here? Is food free?

You have to pay for alcohol or energy drinks, but all other drinks are comped. If you play eight hours within a one week period, you get a $5 food voucher which you have five days to cash in.

Let's be clear...

Free (tip not included):
Ice water
Coffee
Iced Tea
Hot Tea
Soda/lemonade

Not Free:
Alcohol
Bottled Water ($0.50)
Energy Drinks
Fruit Drinks (come in bottle)
Shakes/Smoothies (don't even know if they have smoothies)

Probably missing some stuff

Oh yeah, I forgot about juice. I also forgot bottled water since I just give them the same dollar I'd tip for a soda. I didn't even know they had shakes or smoothies.

I wasn't awake. I obviously meant fruit juice. Not purple drink. I just couldn't think of the word juice for whatever reason.

And I would think the waitresses would want to get ice water for people instead of bottled water because they make more on it...

And I know for sure they have shakes, because I see people get them from time to time. I just added smoothies cause if they have shakes, why not smoothies?

There are usually 2 or 3, 3/5-500 games going during the weekday / evening.

The 5-10 game usually doesn't start until the late afternoon or evening. Lately it hasn't been going as much, I think many of the 5-10 players are in Vegas for WSOP.

As for Weekends, there can be as little as 2 and as many as 5, 3-5/500 games going.

The 5-10, usually only 1 table, but sometimes there is enough interest to have 2 tables going.

They made a small change in the play hour tracking system. Today they told that you don't need to continue your play until 8 hours. My understanding is you still need to check out when you are leaving to get your hours.

Somehow my order of vanilla was heard as "banana" last week; I found they do have some version of a smoothie.

I was bored at work, so I was going back and reading posts about the opening.

I think this is the #1 thing that the new room fixed. In the old room, even if you were at tables all the way back by the cage, you would still smell like smoke when you left, although it didn't really smell like it when you were in there.

In the new room, that seems to be 100% gone. I still feel a bit grimy when leaving the casino, but I can't tell from the smell of my clothes that I was at the casino, so very good job on that!

So you don't have to "check in" every 4 hrs now? Nice.

Now just increase the comps to more than 20 cents an hr!!!

Exactly. Fighters get a minute between rounds, right? I sure do need it. I might go longer, idk right now.

I'm beating the 8-16 for a small amount and I've concluded that it's not worth playing. The $6 drop (and the fact that 8-16 is the only raked game that has $6 taken out when there're 4 SB's pf instead of $3 for the other games) is too much to overcome. I'm switching back to the 20 and am taking a break to get some rest first.

Then HB should allow someone to collect the bounty, and then sit on your left beginning at about hour 12.

I had been looking for you the last few times I've been in and saw no sign of you.

Leaving now. Setting a 4-rack stop-loss which I may or may not follow if it actually comes up.

Finally got a good way to start the 20 game without having to get 8 people to agree to play, or somehow convince 5 or 6 people to play shorthanded.

Start a HU game w/ another good player, within 40 minutes the game was full, and it was AMAZING.

If you build it, they will come.
