Turns out I can withdraw from Lock into my Quick Tender Account. However, once the funds are in my Quick Tender account, I will have to set up a withdrawal to my bank account using a wire transfer.
This is from Quick Tender's fee schedule:

QuickTender Account Fees and Limits

Account fees Service Fee
Registration Fee FREE
Bank wire deposit FREE*
Credit card deposit 5%*
Instant ACH deposit 8.9%*
Delayed ACH deposit (5 business days) 4.9%*
Withdrawals to bank account 30 USD flat fee**
Payment to an online merchant FREE

Pay close attention to the cost of withdrawals to bank account which is $30!! PLUS there is a fee that your US bank will normally charge, which is around $10-20. So it looks like this method will be quicker, but more costly than a check that has a $15 processing fee.

Such a hassle to get funds off a poker site and into your US bank account.

Thats typical wire fees if you used to use that method on FTP. I usually got hit with $50-$60 fees (including $15 bank fee) for wires. Plus didnt FTP hit your MGR if you withdrew via check? I think it sucks too, but at least they are up front about it, and i dont think the fees are unreasonable.

Not unreasonable? I think $15 to mail you a check is pretty gosh-darned unreasonable. If we were playing at a rake-free site or something then MAYBE you could argue that $15 to cashout is acceptable. But after presumably paying a few thousand in rake in a given month I think adding an extra fee just to send you the check for YOUR money is pretty tacky.

Obviously there aren't a whole lot of other choices here and we kind of have to suck it up and accept whatever it is they are going to throw at us. But $15 to mail you a check on top of the thousands in profit they have already made off of your play is not even a little bit reasonable.

For the rake many of us pay, we should be able to have them mail us seven checks for $4 each in separate envelopes every single day if that's what we (weirdly) wanted.

And don't forget that there are still quite a few players who only have $100 or so on the site and just play penny-poker. They should be able to cash-out their roll when they feel like it. A $15 hit on a $100 check or something is pretty silly and thus it dissuades many of the little guys from even trying it.

I want such players to feel comfortable depositing little amounts out there WITHOUT the expectation that they likely won't bother trying to get it back. Get that perception out there too much an you just don't have many fish depositing. Which is where we are today of course.

Or, imagine this.. you play on a room that just has very low fees altogether.
What is UMW?

+1
$15 is unreasonable for the low limit players.
That being said, the $15 check withdrawal fee is better than paying QuickTender/UMW and then the wire fee your bank will charge.

never played on it sorry

I have just recently FINALLY became verified on Lock, yet my UMW withdrawl from aptil 18th is still pending. Also, i noticed UMW is no longer a withdraw option on lock, even though my UMW withdraw is still pending.

Anyone else having this problem?

Can someone confirm we have until MAY 31st to deposit at Lock and do the IPAD2 promotion? They are saying I'm not eligible and I'm waiting customer service to get back to me, but I was under the impression I needed to deposit by the end of April...

Thanks,
M

Thanks,

You have to sign-up through one of the affiliates that is actually doing that promotion. If you signed up directly through Lock or through an affiliate that isn't doing the promo then you are not eligible.

Has anyone actually received funds from lockpoker through check or bank wire?

Thanks Microbob; Lock already fixed the problem (I had signed up through thenuts.com so it must have been something on Lock's end).

Has anyone else actually completed the Ipad2 promo? I did and sent them an email, and they responded:

Hello,

Congratulations on completing the iPad bonus!

Please note that iPad's will be mailed to all qualified players at the end of the promotion, June 1st. Our Promo Team will get in contact with you then regarding details.

All our best,

Elle

It kind of sucks as I was under the impression I would be able to get it as soon as I completed the requirements.

Well I figured out how to finally get the software up and running but now I'm joining the ranks of many with deposit issues.

It says on the Lock Poker website that Visa cards that are accepted worldwide are accepted at Lock Poker. I have the same worldwide Visa that was accepted by PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker although it isn't going through with Lock Poker. I have the ICE Visa Pre-paid card if anyone that has the ability to help me was wondering....

Speaking of that, I am actually really impressed by that vault concept. Seems like an awesome idea that stars/tilt should have done. Haven't tried it yet though so no idea if it works properly.
