so the regs thread pretty much blows nuts these days, i've decided to revive our once beloved LC thread.

What it's for: Life questions/lessons, movies/tv/video game discussion, general info/talk (non-poker), pictures of hot women, otherwise random/LC stuff


what it's not for: $60 graphs where you run 15 BI below EV, HHs, sharkystrator support/complaints/stfu already, whatever other dumb things happen in the regs thread these days










also some recommendations for TV shows I've started watching lately.

Justified: had never seen it, 4 seasons out and it's pretty boss so far. Would def. reccomend

Vikings / Hannibal: Both new shows, 1st season ,vikings is very sick if you like Game of Thrones / Spartacus / that type stuff, Hannibal is just interesting esp. since Dr Lecter is obv a total beast


anyways, welcome back LC, hopefully it gets some traction and I can perma stop paying attention to the 9/10 posts in regs thread that are nonsense

Shows

- Boss Season 1 was great. If you liked House of Cards (another excellent series, Netflix Original), I thought this was on that level (personally enjoyed it a bit more).

- Veep Season 2 just started. Still pretty darn funny. Season 1 was great.

- RIP to The Office, 30Rock and Parks and Rec. You guys had a good run, but seemed to hand over the duties of writing to random writing generators for the last season or so of your shows. Or maybe it was kind of like the 30rock plot

Biggest Questions For New LC Thread

- How hot will the chicks get?

- How many guys will Bunza post?

- Will the thread die like every other LC thread in recent memory?

- Will Michael/Mikhail/Miguel from Russia grace us with his presence or continue to litter the regs thread?

Ah yea speaking of house of cards... House of Lies (flex). Really enjoyable, can't imagine someone who loves money and/or having sex not thinking don cheadle is a boss and liking that show

Bigtime NBA fan. In general sporting season has been everything i hoped for. German football clubs and King James are ballin'

God I was gonna go to champions league finals (Bayern, (flex)). But I just checked now and it looks like the markup is like 500%+, they went on sale for 60-400 pounds, now cheapest I can find is like 1500 pounds... tiltttt =/, paid more than that for superbowl 2 yrs ago w/ Pistons, and told myself never again

I'm enjoying "The Americans".
I'm a bit disappointed with Hannibal so far, Anthony Hopkins set too high standards for playing that character :-)
