I played a few sports:
-midfielder/defender in soccer (Uni we went to the finals!).
-wide receiver in football (that's American football for you Europeans) in high school. I was fast and had good hands but the safeties hit ****in hard, such a brutal game, didn't play beyond high school...1 concussion, 1 torn biceps, 2 separated shoulders, that's enough
-weight-lifting, getting back into it more now, started at age 14 when a kid called me skinny. Next year he stopped calling me skinny I'm more into getting cut than getting big.
-table tennis, I reached finals in high school.
-bowling, I scored a 225 as my best score.
-chess...it's a sport according to Palinca so...

As for news, I don't trust news media outlets, they are mostly scummy and shady. BBC (bbc.com) seems to be fairly unbiased, but that's from my perspective. cbc.ca is also good (Canadian, and we are fairly unbiased).

The way you say it sounds legit/correct, but think about all the jokes that involve death. It just sounds worse because it's a current tragedy.

There are a bunch of comics that make their living trying to one up each other on saying outrageous ****. It's comedy, if some people find it funny and most do not, it's par for the course. No need for people to get offended by what someone who actually makes jokes for a living says. It's like getting mad at a solider for killing someone. I just joked about people that kill people, so I'll publicly apologize on twitter tomorrow for that too.

Newsroom, I just thought it was so self indulgent, the writing. It was as if a spotlight would shine on a character, then that character would go off on some quick paced spitfire tangent filled with political lingo. Then the spotlight would move onto another character, same thing. I watched half a season, it felt like a play in that regard. The storyline with the bosses was good, but I didn't care much for the others (especially the pair of male-female attraction angles).

While not the same exact thing, Boss and House of Cards are basically same genre, and I enjoyed those both a heck of a lot more.

All opinion obviously, just what I got out of it.

haha Timmy D sure looks like he does some days, but man he's def. still puttin in such sick work at his age, the whole team parker's been unreal. I like LBJ (hate wade/bosh) and want to see him win a lot of titles but will be tough to not root for spurs to get 1 more before they go



and yea obv Pop is a total boss, I always laugh thinking about Haralabob tweeting about the clips/grizz series (he hates both coaches) and said something like:

"I always say everyone else is playing checkers while Pop is playing chess... but these two idiots are playing Tic Tac toe"

The offense was basically a 3 man weave behind the 3 point line when he was here. It was rough.

The GM had to command VDN to play Rose in the 4th quarter more, it was sad. Supposedly the GM got into a fight with VDN too and pushed him around (Paxson).

There's something about this girls form "Being Erica" that really makes me feel worm inside.

Saw the first two episodes of season 4 Arrested Development last night.

I'm a bit disappointed. I don't think it's on par with prior seasons, but I don't think it's a trainwreck either. Hoping it'll just take a bit to warm up and/or it'll appreciate with rewatching (happens sometimes), but not off to a hot start imo.

Anyone else watch? Thoughts?

I'm three episodes in and am actually enjoying it far more than the previous seasons, which I thought are very, very overrated.
