Still being very lazy, its not that I lack motivation, just great weather and friends looking to socialize makes it hard.

Played a £1/2 (£5 straddle) Live game last night, managed to leave with £700 profit. No interesting hands to post, all my spots where either coolers or standard vrs whale.

Ive never been to fond of the live game, but may have to start playing it more due to how soft the games are.

Last day of laziness today, then its time for...

Not the ideal return to poker, I'm rusty, getting horrible board run outs and it seems im due to run into to the top of villains range pretty much every hand.

-$900 for day, mentally I am a class above, I do tilt but I handle it very well and reset very quickly. God knows how much I would have lost running like this a year ago.

Few hands:

Vrs reg(reg fish running hot probs) with no auto top up which is weird, but rebought and had std stats, could probably make an exploitable fold on the turn to save myself from getting owned on too many rivers when he jams his entire range(I think), but nuts is good.

Vrs same villain, would really love to see what he had here, there is a chance I could have been rebluffed(but perhaps im giving him too much credit). I could bet river even smaller giving what we are trying to fold out, but was afraid he might become a hero if I make it too small.

Wouldn't say folding T9 on turn to be exploitable at all, it's probably towards the bottom of your range for calling flop and in terms of equity very far down on this turn. You have lots of stronger hands and draws on this turn that folding a hand that bad is no prob at all and is probably correct, especially given the draw is pretty **** with low implied odds and high reverse implied odds.

I think the other hand is pretty spewy aswell, but keep em coming!

Yea I try to post my worst played hands in the session rather than just coolers etc to make me look like a baus.

Hand 2 is played was pretty weird, villain c/r flop was 40%, I auto-pilot cbet as was 4 tabling , then realized how ******ed it was when he c/r'd. (this may defend my line on turn/river abit).

Considering getting some coaching to plug some of my leaks, I cant really see where im going wrong(most of it may be in my head as im still winning) Only problem is there doesn't seem to be anyone worth while spending the $$$ to get coached. By that I mean anyone who is beating the games today for more than I am.

Thinking of playing a golf tournament next month, entries close in 10 days, I haven't played anywhere near enough to compete but I usually play every year. Its great craic. Happens to be round my favourite course in the world which adds a little incentive

Setting some golf goals to try prepare,

        [ ] 2 hours on the range a day for 10 days.

[ ] 3 competition rounds in the next 10 days.

If I don't complete these I wont enter.

Figuring out where im going to move/what im doing in September, traveling from city going from hostel to hostel seems like it would have a bad effect on my game, and if that was the case, its back to the day job. I'm starting to lean more towards the idea of a poker house, if I can generate enough interest. Looking at Phuket, ill post some houses on here. If anyone shows any interest PM me.

Thanks, was a much easier call than the hand value suggests. Vrs one of my favourite reg-fish, never turns hands into bluffs, doesnt value bet thin, over the 2k hands I have on him has never shoved like this for value, doesnt slowplay, on top of 4 betting 40% + timing tell, meant I only tanked for a few seconds before calling.

Had a pretty Tilting session yesterday:

Begin by losing every pot, bad run outs, running into top ranges, and making a few LOLbad calls can make any man go insane. An hours play goes by and I find myself -$800. I take a break, refocus and get back on the grind.

No fish in sight(where are they this month ) I go to battle, spend 3 hours getting it back to 200 in the red. About to finish what would be a good losing day. As im closing tables, none other than Whales Mcgoldrick sits me, a spot I just cant resist. 120 hands and a new ******* later Im back to -800, God mode activated for said whale, go to bed tilted and depressed

Gona rejoin a training site today, think my thought process could be slightly flawed atm.

Thanks, I play very occasionally, ~3 times since I started this challenge in October. I have friends who play alot of live, and although the games are soft, I live in Belfast and its a long travel to play, that on top of live boring me at times/liferoll issues with the variance involved means Im never really that keen to play.
