Been in Vegas for about 12 hours. 9 hours of poker logged. On 2 different tables I was playing against people who were PFR over 75% of hands.

So I go outside for my afternoon walk and the guy is sitting in the truck. Good, I can quickly check to see if he got my note. Then I notice the white car with the gash in it is now parked in front of him (it wasn't for a good half hour afterwards) and that guy looks to be talking to the driver. That guy now looks at me angrily and says "Yeah, hey, I know the guy. I'm an honest guy. I know the guy. So why don't you mind you're ****ing business and **** off *******".

Sigh.

I look at the truck driver and he says "Um, yeah, I know the guy".

Ok, so off on my walk I go, I'll leave you guys to it.

I'll admit there was more to the conversation, as after his lol statement I basically asked "Um, and I'm supposed to know that when you drove away? So you're getting mad at me for leaving a note?"

...but then I caught myself and realized that I'm actually being the bigger idiot here by engaging this moron. So pretty much left it at that.

On the negative side, and very similar to how I've been moving towards in poker regarding speaking up about things, basically it just never pays to step into things and be helpful (mainly due to the large amount of people who are simply functionally ******ed). Every man for himself from here on out, imo.
