Very strange...
Let me guess...

When you c-bet or semi-bluffed you got called or raised and you had to shut it down or fold.

When you had a nutted value hand and bet everyone folded and you didn't make any money.

And when you did have a pretty hand and called a big raise on the river you were shown a better one and lost. Only then did you think about what do I really beat on that board.

It's likely you are playing too many (weak) hands passively pre-flop by limp/caling especially OOP and in the blinds because it is only X more dollars to call which slowly bleeds money from your stack but adds up quicker than you think. You are playing poker not bingo.

It's pretty easy to read HHs on here with no pressure because it's not your turn to act and make reasonable assumptions about the hand. But live your brain goes into fog mode because you are thinking more about how long you are taking to act instead of the hand itself and Vs tendencies.

Not that I have any experience with the above because it never happens to me.

I almost never limp-call (seriously, people make it 6x+ pre all the time why would I) but it was a little bit of calling for X more in limit while waiting for NL table. Then just banging my head against a wall in NL with a bit of the "I finally haz value, oh wait but what really calls me here".

Also bottom two running into top set was not fun but spr was like 6 and villain had lots of overpairs there imo so that's a cooler.

Also, ****ing bomb pots. Top pair against the hyper lag no good.

Our people have a long history of taking music from other cultures and making it our own. Hip Hop is ours now. It had a good run. We need you to come up with something new in the 2020s so we can whiten it up in the 2030s.

I was super tempted to make a completely ridiculous play yesterday in the sb with 7-2o.

UTG+1 +20, one fold, next guy +60, fold, call, call, call, button folds, I saw original 3 betters face when all the calls happened and knew he hated it, felt pretty certain he had 10’s-JJ and would fold to a 4 bet bomb. Couldn’t justify pulling the trigger though with such trash even with all the dead $.

He confirmed later it would have worked.

What sizing would you go here though if you’re doing it? I was thinking $230-250 and basically give up if called. I was playing 1K+, but there was a couple $600 stacks in the hand.

I think the fact that it was late on a Friday was a thing. Not only ran bad but also my job is really mentally taxing so I was probably mentally fatigued.

Are you playing the 7-2 game by yourself?

We had an iPod hookup in the locker room to play music while getting ready (football pre game is a lot of slowing getting pads on and sitting around). I was like "it's cool, don't worry, just wanna play Tech N9ne man!".

Not that I wasn't a troll, I saved the Children of Bodom cover of Oops I did it again for later

Lulz, I wish I did it. Such a bad play, but I felt pretty sure it would work.
My main worry was that one of the loose-passive $600 stacks would call.
Probably would of been very +EV long term against all the regs there tho.

That's how my biennial 3bet lites usually end.

I'm doing rigorous taste tests of Deschutes stouts tonight. Concluded there is not reason to buy Black Butte Porter now that they have Obsidian Stout.

Maybe. I only snoop the stout shelf @ Total Wine in winter. Though it is still 55° F.

Man, if you guys aren’t incorporating “want to show me a card? Otherwise I’ll probably fold. “ you really need to. I’d say it works like at least 10% of the time. I just had 78o on a 4h5h6c3h board. I lead 20 into 35ish guy raises to 150 and two folds. Ask if he wants to show one. Says no, I’m taking a second, then he says ok and shows me 2 of spades lol.

I should try that because the second he shows a card in our room his hand would be declared dead
