does pokertracker have the ability to view hand histories in the HUD like holdem manager does? I hate clicking through the sites' HH windows too see the last pot I played.

PokerTracker created the ability to view hand histories in the HUD long before HEM existed, PokerTracker's owners were the developers of Poker Ace HUD - the first commercially viable HUD, suffice to say it was a huge success ;-)

The screen capture below shows the HUD using one of the default profiles, with the TAG menu open with the Hand History Viewer. From the HHV you can review past hands, have the hands auto-loaded after you play them, view the source hand history text, copy hands to the clipboard, or hide the player names (both in the display or in the copied hand history text). You can also hide the results or place the results in a spolier when you copy in forum friend formats. The card size is set to the default large, but you can opt for smaller cards if you find that easier. By default the HHV is the same size as the table, and will appear to the right hand side. Download the PokerTracker 4 30 day trial to test for yourself, that is the best way to see how the hand history viewer works.

There could be many reasons why this is happening, from problems with your OS to lack of memory. We cannot help without further information, on the bright side crashing is actually quite rare, so we will work hard to help you provided we have the information we need to solve the problem. Did you already upload the crash log after the crash took place?

Good luck, we hope to have you back on your feet in no time!

Please follow these instructions for submitting a Support Ticket, include all examples and logs so we can trace the possible source of your problem.

I am trying to do a filter (maybe I should do it from the reports page?) so I can examine how a specific player reacts when I 3bet them. It's important that they be the PFR and I be the 3bettor.

I'm sure this can be done, but i haven't figured out how yet

Using this advanced filter in the Filters Expression area will filter to all and only hands where Hero 3bet (where Hero is someone who was dealt cards):

cash_hand_player_statistics.id_hand in (SELECT chps.id_hand from cash_hand_player_statistics chps where chps.flg_hero and chps.flg_p_3bet)

To change from cash to tourney change "cash" to "tourney" and leave everything else the same.

You need to click the blue "Filters" link instead of "Advanced". Click on "Add New Expression Filters" and paste Kraada's expression in there instead.

Can I filter for only players that have > x samples? or x total hands?

And in the results that appear when i run this report, it has a column for "My C Won" Is this actually how much money I have won/lost or how much money the players who is on that row has won or lost?
PokerTracker 4 for Windows & Mac OS X - 2+2 Support Thread Quote

Due to the way this filter works, the easiest is to actually filter by number of hands that are in this sample (ie- that you 3bet).

In Filter Expressions use:

#Hands# > 100

to give you all data on players with a more than 100 hand sample. Expect this to be a fairly small list.

You also want to add a Simple Filter for having raised first in (Actions and Opportunities -> Preflop -> Raises -> Raise First In). then you'll be only seeing data where someone raised first in. Once this is added you only see data on players where they RFI and you 3bet them. So the Hands stat will tell you how large your sample is and My C Won will show you how much they won (or lost) in these scenarios.

Can I paste a HH I copied from somewhere else to check push/fold in pt4
?
Also can PT4 show the calling ranges for a particular situation where it suggests fold? (sng wizard does both of these).
Can we expect this feature in the near future if they are'nt there already??

Thanks.

We only support hands that are in your PokerTracker database for ICM Simulation, as long as you can import the hand, then you can run ICM simulation from the replayer. We do not support pasted hands for import, but you can paste that hand into a text file, and then import the text file instead.

As for your statement on the HERO's Calling Ranges, I don't know of an ICM Simulator that factors in calling vs pushing vs folding for the hero with players left to act and the action is not closed. All ICM simulators factor in an opponent's calling range when determining the equity of your pushes, but the Independent Chip Model only calculates equity for pushing or folding for the HERO, it cannot be used to calculate the value of a call with players left to act if they can re-open the betting, do you see why? Because this is impossible, I suspect you may actually be referring to something else but your description was not ideal, is that possible?

You can see all your hands for a session-by-time via the Summary > Session report (in either Results or Statistics sections).
If you played over 100 hands in a session you'll need to change the "most recent X hands" option to see them all in a single list.

Please update to the beta released today to see if this solves your issue. If it does not solve the issue, then please submit a support ticket with a copy of the hand history so we can investigate.

Please contact us by creating a support ticket, 2+2 allows us to use this thread for product support, they discourage sales discussions. Additionally we cannot give an answer without looking at your account first, therefore submitting a suppport ticket request is the best solution.

I am afraid this depends on what sites you are playing on, and if you are playing cash games or tournaments. There are too many options to give a good answer.

I am sorry, but I didn't understand the full intent of your post, so I can only comment on what I think was your intent. You can see ICM simulation results from the point of view of every player at the table when it is the hero's turn to take action, if this is what you mean by "put myself in the villains place" then we already support this. Additionally the ICM Simulator includes a spreadsheet mode (you called this a chart I believe), but I did not understand the rest of your post on this topic. Additionally we already have video tutorials discussing the ICM Simulator and the Custom Stats windows included within PokerTracker 4.

* To enable support for iPoker Speed Poker tables click Configure: Site & Import Options*from the main menu and select iPoker. Enable the Speed Poker HUD checkbox and click OK. The following steps must be followed exactly to allow the HUD to be displayed:
  • Start PokerTracker 4
  • Start your iPoker skin, login to your account
  • Click "Get Hands While Playing" in PokerTracker 4
  • Join a Speed Poker table
  • You can only play on one table per game and stake, if you open additional Speed Poker tables at the same stake and game format, then the HUD will not recognize the new table
** To create a suited range in the PokerTracker 4 Equity Calculator, the first card must be higher ranking than the second card, if the hand range is not recorded in this order then PokerTracker 4 will automatically correct the range by reversing the order before performing the calculation. The range created will run from the lower card to the higher card entered. Examples:
  • 8d5d+ = 8d5d,8d6d,8d7d
  • AsKs-AsJs = AsKs, AsQs, AsJs

hello,

i was wondering if there is any shortcut for tagging hands in the middle of a session.

as it stands if i want to mark a hand for review, i have to click the icon in the middle of the screen, select the hand in question from the drop down menu, and then select the tag from another drop down menu.

if at any point action is required on another table then the focus is stolen and i have to start all over again, which can be very frustrating while playing 6-12 tables.

sorry if this has been asked before!
