why is it every time i estimate ram, it goes down? like when i enter js4s6d flop, it'll say a certain amount, then when i try others, the ram keeps going down? then i come back to the same j46 flop and it's way lower than what it originally stated?

The only issue you might run into by forcing the first player to fold is that the solution will require more RAM to solve than if you made a new game tree, with less players dealt into the hand.

You usually can not seamlessly change stack sizes for Monker game trees.

Monkerviewer does not require a Monkersolver license. You can view Monkersolver ranges that have been exported for Monkerviewer with a Monkersolver license.

It's only accurate the first time you estimate it. This is a bug that presumably has something to do with card removal.

thank you for your response, I exported multiple ranges folders from monkersolver and placed them all in subfolders in the ranges folder. But some of them show on the server and then some folders don't show. Also on my home PC I can't get any of the folders to show at all in monkerviewer. How come some of them show on the server and some don't, and then none them show at all on my home PC?

Sorry if this has been asked before, haven't been able to find an answer.

I'm running a sim using a forced bet frequency. I'm trying to compare game value changes of equilibrium bet frequency vs a pure bet frequency. What I'm seeing are a few things

1). There is a "bounty" for the forced bet frequency. What exactly does this mean?

2). The game value for BOTH players seems to increase as well as the combined total game value of the game. Why is this? I would have expected to player deviating from equilibrium to lose some pot share and for villain to gain the corresponding amount. This doesn't happen.

what's the best way to get accurate flop results 3handed? for instance, currently i have flop set at 4bet cap, turn at 3bet cap, and river 1bet cap, with no restrictions. would it be better to set flop at 4betcap, and turn and river at 4bets with no donking/coldcalling for better flop results?

in the custom tab> player count, it says exclude nodes when player count equals any of inputed integers, won't this skew the results for starting streets? like if i enter 2, it would assume all subsequent streets will be at least 3way and therefore alter play on first street?
also, when i click on header node (3-way flop) and click add to all post flop nodes, it doesn't do anything. the only turn option is still just "check".

ok i guess add to all postflop nodes only pertains to a specific action and not a flop tree.

is this a bug in the cold-calling feature? when i enter 1, if SB bets, BB raises, Btn 3bets, SB is forced to fold (3bet cap, can't raise).

I'm having an annoying problem where in the "Solve" tab, when I click the folder to load my sims nothing happens, I get the feeling the window is opening up off screen somewhere and I can't figure out how to get it back.

Just started to use Monkersolver, been trying to build a HU PLO preflop-tree but I end up with 35% fold from sb.

Any clue what I could be doing wrong?

First you will need to solve something using Monkersolver, then you export the preflop ranges for Monkerviewer, which is an option you can select from within the 'Solve' tab.

A bounty is bonus EV that is added as a reward for choosing a certain action over another. This is necessary to obtain the target frequency you require, because of the way the algorithm works.

If you deviate from the equilibrium, assuming a rake free context and a HU game, then the other player's EV should increase. However, given that you have introduced a bounty, the EV for the player deviating and the player adjusting increases.

You can always solve no limit, fixed limit and pot limit for the following variants:

Omaha, Hold'em and O8.

If your cap is 1.25 big blinds, and assuming you are using the default blind structure (1/2), then 2500 mchips is the correct rake cap to set.

The easiest thing to do is click the AUTO button in the bottom right, then right click on the very top of the tree where it says "2 way, preflop" -> add to all -> postflop nodes w/o donk

hello everyone, i have a couple questions im hoping someone can help me out with. hopefully these havent appeared too many times already in the thread.

1.im curious how many of you are running HU/6mx PLO sims on a PC which you built/ordered custom and how many of you are renting server space?

2. what set of features are required in a PC build to comfortably run HU and 6mx omaha trees? is 128 RAM enough to handle 40bb 6mx?

In certain sims, i've been able to input ranges (lock call, lock fold etc) but for this sim i am setting up i am unable to lock. When i use the same process as before and try to input the range i want to lock, monker just locks = frequenices for all actions instead of just locking the action i want. 33% for fold, call, and allin.

I am trying to set up a sim where i input a btn opening range, allow sb to 3b call or fold, and basically lock the btn's response to overfold to the 3b. This is what i see when i get to this point.
