hello everyone, first i would like to say i really like this forum(twoplustwo). There is alot useful informations for poker players here. So here go my first post. I hope it is correct topic or please give me link where to post this following question.
I just installed hm2 and I did my hand importing. Alot of features there on hm2. Still do not know what all filters and features means but i am learning. Trying to improve my poker game too.
So, when i open holdem manager 2, then i click Reports, then i click Tournament,then i click Tournament Results, then some table shows. It has alot of columns. 3 of many columns are: Winnings, Net Winnings $ and $EV. Can somebody explain what those 3 means on my exact stats: Winnings: 453, Net Winnings:-215$ $ and $EV: 441.

I am really thankfull for answer.

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] All Configs > OK
3) Manually reset your Site Setup > Seating Preferences > for your site/seats and any other HUD Settings you had personalized.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch or import an older backup of that HUD config that was created before the corruption.

If you duplicate the problem with the default HUD:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Reporting+Tool
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and zip/attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.


If the problem only affects the coffee HUD try to reimport their HUD. If that doesn't help you will need to contact their support.

We limit the replayer HUD for the hero to 20k hands by default for performance reasons. Please see this FAQ for more details and instructions on how to increase that value - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...n+the+replayer

Also make sure you toggle off this option inside of the Replayer: Options > [ ] Use stats up to day of hand

If you continue to have problems:

Make sure the HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > [ ] 'Use session stats' is disabled. Also check the Table HUD Options to be sure it is set to All Hands and not Session Stats - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...2831/Table+HUD

Make sure that the HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > Min hands: is set to '0'.

Make sure that the HUD Settings > Stat Appearance > Min samples: is set to '0' for each and every stat in your HUD if your issue is missing stats.

Make sure that your HUD Settings > HUD Filters are all set to '2 to 10' and that both check box options under Filter by limits are checked [x].

Make sure the HUD Settings > Tournament Filters are all set to '1 to 81+'. Changing these filters to anything other than their default settings will make the HUD Stats change drastically based on the number of players at the table and/or their stack sizes in tournaments.

Cliff notes version:
- Winnings = Gross/Total Winnings
- Net Winnings = Gross Winnings minus Total Buyins (including Rake)
- $EV = Net Winnings adjusted for 'Luck' when you are all-in before the river.

I have allso question for everybody and you fozzy71, too.
So this means i play good poker? I should have 441 dollars on my account, but i am minus 215 dollars.
So this means that i am really unlucky (around 500 sng played)? I am experiencing variance - downswing, and my money on my account should go up soon if i play like this?

I can't attempt to answer what the numbers mean without seeing a screen shot of the numbers or graph lines to be sure I am answering correctly but this is probably more of a question for one of the strategy forums for the games/stakes you play as I personally do not ever play tournaments.

Hi,

I've just got a new laptop and re-installed HM2, but I'm having trouble getting my street-by-street HUD back up and running. it's not letting me turn on live tracking for pokerstars in the 'site options' menu which I need to do in order to allow me to set up my street-by-street HUD, as the option is blacked out? I've changed the pokerstars theme to black and I've set dealer chat to 'show everything' so I'm not sure what the problem is?

Ok so essentially street-by-street HUD is no longer available? How about reveerting back to an older version of HM2?

We can not recommend you do that as it would be against Amaya's new rules. While these rules haven't been added to their site's rules pages yet, once they are you would be violating their terms of service (and it will likely not be hard for them to find out who is using an older version that does not conform to the new TOS).

Ok no problem. It's not a major problem for me to just adapt my HUD. I actually welcome the tighter rules because I wasn't starting to feel like eventually poker would just end up being a bunch of robots trying to out-algorithm each other!

Am I correct that is legal to manually change HUD as street changes?

Also is it still possible to get the main popup up when clicking on a stat on your HUD. I.e. the pop-up that allows you to switch between different charts? For example, I have a custom made 4Bet and 5Bet pop-up, but in the past I've usually accessed it by clicking on a start and then just clicking on the appropriate tab; same goes for the nash chart. At the moment I don't seem to be able to do that, it just comes up with one pop-up and I can't switch to another one?

Actually, please ignore that--I've resolved it. It's just because it was set to pop-up default's whereas I'm using customs.

I believe so but that is better asked of pokerstars support, not us. The EasyStreet program by ProPokerHUDS is still allowed as far as I know (though they did have to change some of it's behavior for these new rules).

Hi, HUD in zoom did not working cca 2 months. In other formats its ok, but zoom not. I can see my session in HM2, but no stats on table. I did try reinstal PS and HM and not working. It started after PS update cca in August

After downloading, right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator to complete the reinstall.

IMPORTANT Zoom Installation Instructions:
On the first run, you must start the Hold'em Manager 2 HUD BEFORE you launch PokerStars. If PokerStars is open, you must close PokerStars, start the HUD and then open PokerStars before Zoom HUD will function properly. If the Zoom HUD is not displaying after doing the above, please uninstall PokerStars and re-download and install PokerStars as the PokerStars installation is more than likely corrupted and a PokerStars reinstall should resolve the issue.

If you continue to have problems:

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you stars PokerStars again.

There is no stat for this situation in HM2 so it would have to be created with NoteCaddy Premium if you want it.

The font size, panel colors and design on my pop-ups keeps changing seemingly at random. I have one pop-up that I made from scratch that has changed at probably 6 times in the last few weeks, going all yellow or all black with the font shrinking to the small size and I've had to go in and manually change everything back. Then today I just restarted HEM 2 and started playing and now one of the default popups has done something similar, all of the panels have changed to white, font color has changed from white to black, the font size has shrunk and all of the borders have been erased. Any idea why this happens and how to prevent? also is there a way to quickly restore it to what it originally was? this is very annoying.

This is likely caused by corrupt hud/popup files.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and AntiVirus are you using?

So, i can do interpretation of this in at least two ways (or something else if i am completly wrong: Which one is correct?:
A: 1.My gross winnings(without buyin counted) are 2883,6;
2. net winnings are 621,60 dollars
3.$ev 2460,93 dollars
This means that i won 621,60 dollars totally. Also, this means that i should have won 198,93 dollars( my ev minus gross winnings = - 422,67. So net winning minus 422,67 = 198,93 dollars.
Conclusion: I was playing good and i would have been plus anyway, but variance helped me so i make even more money that i should.
B: 1.My gross winnings(without buyin counted) are 2883,6;
2. net winnings are 621,60 dollars
3.$ev 2460,93 dollars
This means that i won 621,60 dollars totally. Also this means that i should have won 2460,93 dollars.
Conclusion: I was playing good but variance did not help me(variance "cost" me 1839,33 dollars) Scenario B is only real is $ev is calculated like this: my gross #ev minus buy-in.
Please tell me which one is the right one: A or B
