You have to import all your played hands. If you play a site like stars/ftp/party you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results. If you don't have any history at the site with those players then you need to play more hands. Using/buying observed hands in your database is against the terms of service at every site we support and doing so could cause punitive action by the site such as freezing your account.

I am not sure what you mean by 'vs the people'. Importing your played hands will add your hands/stats, and the stats for anyone you played hands against, to your database.

If you play at stars:

You may need to request and import any/all of your old hand/tournament histories and import those to HM2 and make sure you enabled the option in the PokerStars client via their lobby options and make sure that HM2 has added both the hand history and summary folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration and this will ensure future tournaments have correct results automatically.
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...er+Stars+Setup

For older hands/tournaments email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Audit Files in .htm format. They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder and then manually import those files by going to the Importing option in the HM Ribbon menu and choosing import from folders in the manual import section. You may see import errors as some of these hands are probably already imported.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments and repeat the process of importing all the files. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions otherwise they will not import. You can view this FAQ for more information on importing emailed hand histories:

Which Operating System, Firewall, and AntiVirus are you using?

Please see this FAQ to alleviate any security bottlenecks - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...olders+HM2+use

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Uninstall HM2 and then Reinstall HM2 from this file http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe
4) After downloading, right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator to complete the reinstall.
5) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rewall%29#MSES
6) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

If you continue to have problems:

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.

2) Delete the \PostgreSQL\X.x\data folder that is left behind.

3) Delete the sub-folder(s) in c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\HoldemManager\Da tabase (XP - c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Database).

4) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator

net user postgres /delete

After you click 'Enter' for the code above also do that same for this code:

sc delete postgresql-8.4

and click 'Enter' again.

5) Restart your PC

6) Install PostgreSQL 9.0 or 9.2 from postgresql.org

7) Once installed you should disable the postgresql logging as instructed here - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...arge+Log+Files

If there is still an issue, we need to know the error - it is in the temp folder - bitrockinstaller.txt file. If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory. http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...es+in+Windows+

Mail that file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

How accurate are luck adjusted winnings on HEM nowadays? just wondering bc i want to know if Im actually a winning player at these games or just break even.

In general they are accurate. There may be some known bugs in our system depending on the sites/games you play which you did not mention. For deeper analysis of where you are losing money you should be using the More Filters to filter to all-in hands, big chip pots, etc and post those hands for feedback in the strategy forums here for the games/stakes you play to see how you could maybe play those specific hands better in the future.

Hi, I just downloaded the free trial of HEM 2 for 30 days.

I just don't understand nothing... I have never been good with computers I must say. I succeeded to create an account. First I think I would like to understand what I have to do so the software can record the hands that I play on pokerstars. I guess I'll check everything slowly, and I thought about hiring a coach, but I would like at least to be able to record my hands.

Thanks.

Make sure your site is configured to save hands and that HM2 is setup to auto import those hands - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...20Setup%20Info

*Note that we do not support play money hands so you must test/play real money hands when using HM2 - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ay+Money+Hands

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ime+Adjustment

Please see this FAQ on how to use table finder if you are playing regular non-zoom type tables - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+not+appear%3F

If you continue to have problems:

Please follow the instructions in the following FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...es+not+work%3F

Alternatively you can use our Priority Support Tool which often resolves the issue and it will ask you relevant questions and at the end it will forward us the answers if you couldn't resolve it - http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/priority-support/ - look for the 'HUD is not working' topic. Requests via the priority support tool receive higher priority than normal emails.

hi. please help .

My HUD (i use HM2) isn't working at PLO ZOOM on PokerStars . It works on normal (100bb) and ante tables works OK too, only not working on ZOOM. HM2 is tracking the hands, it shows on my HM2 the hands I played on ZOOM, problem is with HUD stats now showing while I play .

I had this problem months ago, I remember I wrote it here and you guys gave me an answer. I remember it was simple, but I forgot what I have to do and can't find my post here.

Thanks in advance.

edit: I have 2.0.0.8385 version.

That is not the latest (beta) version.

Please update to the latest beta version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

After downloading, right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator to complete the reinstall.

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you start PokerStars again.

IMPORTANT Zoom Installation Instructions:
On the first run, you must start the Hold'em Manager 2 HUD BEFORE you launch PokerStars. If PokerStars is open, you must close PokerStars, start the HUD and then open PokerStars before Zoom HUD will function properly. If the Zoom HUD is not displaying after doing the above, please uninstall PokerStars, delete the associated C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PokerStars.xx folders. and re-download and install PokerStars as the PokerStars installation is more than likely corrupted and a PokerStars reinstall should resolve the issue.

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rs+Zoom+Tables

If you continue to have problems please send the requested files/screenshots as instructed at the end of the FAQ in the link above.

What is AMC?

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ime+Adjustment

If you continue to have problems:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Reporting+Tool
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

Coral Poker (and other Ipoker 'beta' clients) have made changes to the hand histories that are not in line with rest of the Ipoker Network. We are waiting on Ipoker to release final changes to their hand history format before we can properly support it. If you can still download their 'classic' client from their site, instead of their new 'beta' client, it should work as it used to.

I had a deep run in a 11$ turbo tournament, but only cash in something like 20$. HEM reports I had like 707,42$ winnings, and then 696.42$ net winnings. I'm still trying to figure out how it works. Thanks !

There should be no reason to reinstall MS Visual, framework, etc unless you are having errors related to them, which we can't say without seeing log files. Why do you want to do this exactly?

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data:

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...dem+Manager%3F

This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency.

7) Once installed you should disable the postgresql logging as instructed here - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...arge+Log+Files

- Please export your HUD's in HUD Settings.
- Create a backup of your settings - hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/2511/Create+a+Backup+and+restore+default+settings

- Please delete everything in
Win7: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\
XP: c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager

- Showing hidden files: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...in+Windows%3F+

- Uninstall HM2 and then Reinstall HM2 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

Anytime you report problems with results, importing, HUDs, etc you need to include what sites/games you are playing as it could be a known issue caused by limitations in your site's files or a known bug we are planning to fix in the future.

Which site or sites are you experiencing this issue with?

Any tournament with more than 1 table (and some single table games) will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. Without this information it is impossible for HM2 to work out the correct results. The only sites that currently write these summary files that we support right now is Pokerstars, Full Tilt, and Pacific. If your site does not write summaries, or you experience any discrepancies with the results, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

If you continue to have problems even after importing the summary files, please zip (right-click > send to > compressed folder) and email the problem hand histories and tournament summaries. All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have changed the default. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\DD\MM.
