Did pokerstars software update today? I just had one of our testers try this and he had no problems (his HM time site adjustment is set to +6 for stars).

Are you using the custom time settings in the stars client? If you set the stars lobby to EST does it solve the problems?

It is still a bug and I am trying every thing I can to get this issue bumped to the top of the priority list.

The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-5527: Merge SNG results problems

hey fozzy,

I have been having a problem opening tablescan in HM2. At some point it stopped allowing me to open. i get a message box saying:

1. Is your poker client running?

2. Are you running poker client/HM2 as an administrator?
(something to that effect)

Is there a reason this is happening, as it worked before for me off/on over the last couple months.

Which site are you playing? Which HM2 version number are you using?

Close HM2 and your poker client:

1) Go to C:\Program Files\Holdem Manager 2 (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)
2) Right click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for HudFuncsApp.exe

If this option is greyed out it is because the UAC must be enabled.

Reboot.
Complete Step 3 and 4.
The UAC can be turned off again if desired.

Do the same for your poker client .exe file.


If you continue to have problems, try the following -

At the top of the scanner near the left side you'll see several icons. If the middle icon which looks like an f in a circle is red then clear fonts is on and it needs to be turned off, press that icon and it should turn smoothing off and the circle should become grey. Make sure your poker client is closed when/if you disable the font smoothing feature.

If the problem persists please take a screenshot of the whole scanner window making sure all filters are fully visible and also a picture of the lobby you're trying to scan.

Also please detail what stakes you're trying to scan and if you're using insta scan or classic scan.

Run as Admin is not an option in XP. Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

HUD is not working on PS Zoom. The HUD is shown on the table but it says "WAITING FOR HANDS". The hands are being imported. Hud works on regular tables. You told me to run as administrator but I have Win XP. Any other reason my HUD is not working on only ZOOM?

searching thread atm but would like a reply asap so i can start playing
i have newest update, run both hem and stars as admin, added my username to the new hem update as hero screenname and still the zoom hud is showing players from either other orbits or other tables (its not a matter of simply correct seating being incorrect)

also i think i had the same problem on laptop a while ago and the fix was simply just to do something about prefetch hands and something else with "rush" hands or something in options?
that might not be it so pls list any suggestions

I am sorry, for some reason I thought you were using HM1 and not HM2.

Please update to the latest internal build - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa..._22Aug2012.exe

Make sure:

- these 2 options are enabled: HUD Options > additional hud filters > filter by limits > [x] include hands from other limits, and [x] mix ftp rush and non rush stats
- preferred seat is set in HM1 HUD Options > Seating Preferences
- hero name is set under HUD Options > Set Hero Name
- prefetch off in HUD Options > Site Options
- stars hh folder is in autoimport and that autoimport is running

My HEM stopped working. I try to load it up, but everytime I do, I get this:


After I click ok...this shows up:



After I click continue...this shows up:



And that's where it stays.

The easiest place to see these is in the Cash Games > Sessions: under the Minutes Played and $USD/hr columns. You can use the 'All Hands' button to filter by date range if you only want to see something like 'today' or 'this month'.

Your holdemmanager.config file has been damaged/corrupted:

1. Note your database connection settings from the database management (server name: 127.0.0.1; port number: 5432; login name: postgres; password: postgrespass)
2. Close holdemmanager
3. Go to the folder config in the holdemmanager installation path
4. Rename the file holdemmanager.config to holdemmanager.config.corrupt or sth. like that.
5. Under Vista make sure that UAC is switched off or check the administrator settings for holdemmanager.exe, hmhud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe under properties->compatibility
6. Restart Holdemmanager
7. Holdemmanager reinstalls and displays some messages and warnings
7a. A new holdemmanager.config file is generated
8. Reconfigure your database connection
9. After successful start reconfigure your Auto-import settings

trying to reinstall omaha small stakes which I bought in 2010 - installation fails at the postgressql stage - any instructions how to remove all the crud so I can reinstalll fresh? - and is there a patch for zoom??

Which version number are you using on each computer? You might want to search your downloads folder on the desktop for the most recent HmUpdate.exe or HmUpdate_Release_Version_Date.exe and transfer that file to your laptop and install it there so you can update/rollback to the version that is working on your desktop. If you could tell me the version numbers or file name for the ones that work it might help the testers and developers narrow down the build when this problem was reintroduced.

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services > secondary logon > right-click > start AND right-click > properties > startup type: automatic.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:

Hmm thought I posted this earlier but don't see it:

I've been out of the game since Black Friday. I have HM1 and plan to upgrade to HM2 if I play again. I don't know if this is the correct forum but I used to own a Notecaddy license and was wondering if I have to buy a new one to work with HM2?

All of your HM1 Apps will work in HM2 without having to upgrade the Apps.
