Still missing several hu sngs. They seem to be mainly games I win and with high ev. Although not always. They are listed as incomplete in graph.

Does this happen if rematch screen closed too quickly? This is only thing I can think of.

Hi. I cant reset to 0 my winnings in my currents session in HUd. I know that i can made reset of stats in HUD by closing and openning Holdem manager , but AFTER closing and openning Holdem manager Winnigs reset to WInnings of LAST 10 HANDS. But i want to reset to 0 HANDS. How to make it? Thank you

One of your HUD files may be corrupt.

1) Export any custom HUD configs and Copy/Paste your \Config folder before deleting any files as a backup.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Right-click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

As a long time PT user, I am giving HEM a trial, one issue that I am experiencing, while I have been able to get the HUD stats in the right seats, when the mucked and winning hands display after a hand they appear in the wrong place. I play on PokerStars. Thanks in advance.

When I multi-table MTT's on Stars, I cannot get the HUD's to stay where I want them. If I click "Lock the Layout" under "Table Preferences" it locks one table in place just fine but then the second table will be locked with the opponent HUD stats slightly off. If I click "WYSIWYG," then the second table will have the opponent HUD's in random spots, and if I move them to where I want then the first table HUD's get screwed up. Either way, whenever I get moved to another table all the HUD stats are thrown into disarray again. I'm sure there is an easy answer to this--sorry for the noob question.
One more quick one: One of the first times I ever used HEM a winning hand got moved to the corner of my table's screen, and now every subsequent time I've logged back in, the same damn 99 just sits there in the corner and I can't get rid of it. Thanks!

I am running a Windows XP system with Windows Firewall and Avast AV. I was running ESET, but wanted to try out Kaspersky which caused issues, so I got Avast. I am logged into the Administrator account so I don't have the option of running HM as admin because I already am the admin. Being that I live in the USA, my regional settings are already set to English USA. And since I am running XP, no UAC

I have also already re-installed twice :/

HM runs fine for me. The current update has taken care of all of the other issues with the exception of those two particular apps. Everything else runs just fine.

Should I maybe give permissions using the Windows Firewall?

What you are describing is possibly happening because you long ago rearranged the HUD before setting your preferred seating properly. When you use a preferred seat and sit down at a cash table and get hud stats before playing, and then move the HUD panels before HM has imported your own hand, they will be messed back up as soon as HM imports your first played hand repositions the HUD panels.

You need to make sure to not move anyone's HUD that appears to be incorrect, until you can see your own Hero stats. You cna also use the HUD Options > Table Preferences > Mucked Card and Alignment Edit Mode to help align the stats and mucked cards.


Set the preferred seating for Stars in the poker client, then in Holdem Manager to match. HUD Options > Preferred Seating

Turn on Pre-Fetch. (on by default actually)
HUD Options > Site Options > Pokerstars > 5 (Make note of the pre-fetch folder path)

Options > Configure Auto import Folders > Add > C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\HEM Data

Close HM and the Table Manager


Delete your existing position files, so HM will rebuild them to default.

\Holdem Manager\Importing\Config\pospref.txt and pospref2.txt and pospref4 need to be deleted.

Start HM - Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and start stars and open 1 cash table.

After a couple hands it will pre-fetch some observed hands to show the HUD.

Use Ctrl+Right-Click+Drag to move the panels Move the main/first HUD panel for each player first. This is the panel with the Note Icon (astersik). Once the main panel is in the proper position, you can position the sub-panels (if you have them)for each player, if you use them. Once they are set, go to Table Manager > File > Save Positions.

Close that table, open a new one, and sit to play. If the HUD pops up while waiting for the big blind, do not move any hud panels. Once HM imports your first played hand it will spin the HUD to correct for the auto-center feature.

Setting exceptions in the firewall should be done. Just to be clear your Avast is Anti-Virus only, and not a internet security bundle with a firewall?

When you reinstalled did you use the revo uninstaller software? If not, try the steps I gave. If a revo reinstall doesnt solve it I am at a bit of a loss.

Send me some screen shots and a copy of your config file. Please email them to me at [email protected], with a link to this thread and your forum name. Please attach your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Program Files(x86)\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config. If your extensions are off you'll just see a file called holdemmanager.

HUD is not working for me in the pokerstars CAP tables, it works fine when I play sngs and other cash tables but not in the CAP tables. ?

You need to have 100's, if not 1,000's of hands on players, before the Player Analysis sub-window will start analyzing the player stats. Try checking the Player Analysis on yourself.

Hey all, after the most recent FT update my HUD no longer appears while im playing on full tilt. it is still working for pokerstars fine, and it it still importing my hand histories, but my HUD just isnt appearing. Any help?

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue.

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services > secondary logon > right-click > start AND right-click > properties > startup type: automatic.

First try to reboot.

If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...ender+Problems

Please try following these FAQs, step by step:

If that doesn't help you will probably have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely and reimport your hands using these instructions

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:
A) Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt > Right-Click > Run As Administrator
[PHP]net user postgres /delete [/PHP]
B) Reboot.

Which games? It should work on tilt for all games except multi-entry tourneys, and a few people had rush on-demand tourney issues.

After recently having unrelated computer problems, I fire up HEM and get an error message:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application"

"The type initializer for ' Scanner.Form1' threw an exception."

FTP multi entry stopped working at all... Until yesterday at least I had HUD from other players, but now nothing shows up...

When is the fix coming?

Same problem here. FTP multi entry tables doesn't show my own HUD but shows others.
