created new database it imported 9/9 hands no error but i cannot see a hud or see my name in player search =/

how do i let HEM by pass my firewall?
i also use AVG anti virus

allowed hem and poker stuff to pass through firewall still didnt work im off to sleep try more tomorrow

Im having a random weird problem with HEM. Ive been playing on an ongame skin for a few weeks and all my hands have been auto-importing to the defult folder specified in my computer, and autoimporting into my holdem manager with no problems. Randomly an hour ago they stopped autoimporting to my holdem manager. I manually found the file and clicked the "stop import" and clicked the "import file" but it said 0 files found to import.

@fozzy its fixed now. not sure which step fixed it was either Adding port through firewall, changing regional settings to English USA or the update (unlikely update because i already had newest version)

anywayz im off to play dropped 4BI playing with a hud while trying to fix it lol

I'm making a new database and only importing hands from this year. I'm going to export my notes from the old db and import them in to the new one.

What happens if I have an old note on someone but that player isn't in the new database? Is it lost forever or is it stored somehow and will then appear if that player turns up sometime in the future in the new db?

I've bought a nice pc so I want to stop using HEM on my old laptop and use it instead on my new computer (and I already have it on a second pc) so how do I do that?

What is your auto import folder set to? Ongame recently changed the default path for hand histories. Depending on your Ongame client this change may have taken affect for you now. It should be something like this;

W7/Vista

C:\Users\Username\P5JavaClientSettings\

Note: This Vista and Windows 7 folder is hidden by default. You need to make sure Windows is showing Hidden Files.

XP

C:\Documents and settings\UserName\P5JavaClientsettings\handhistory

If you still have issues which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator. Do the same for the main Poker Sites executable files.
Add exceptions to the windows firewall for those files, even if the firewall is turned off.
Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Also set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Go to the Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options and select English (US) as the "Current Format".

Restart your PC.

If hands are still not importing please attach your holdemmanager.config file from c:\program files(x86)\rvg software\holdem manager\config folder (or something similar depending on your installation). It may be just called holdemmanager if you've extensions turned off and send to support@holdemmanager.com

If there are import errors showing up can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database and see if there is also import errors with that database.

If there is please zip and email the original hands to support@holdemmanager.com with a link to your post.

The notes will only import if that player is in your new database. Notes for players not in the database cannot be imported. However if you keep your exported notes safe you can run a subsequent import on that file at a later date to update any notes for players that were not in the database when you first imported the notes.

Your license will need a reset so you can run HM on your new computer.

Database is acting weird; my sessions tab and graph show me winning a different amount than my reports tab. All show the exact same amount of hands.

And leakbuster also shows another amount but then also with about 6% of my hands missing..

I am trying to filter my database such that I can see how I'm doing in spots where I bluffed river i.e to check if I am bluffing river too much.

I set filters for 'bet river = true' and hand values of high card. However (and correct me if i am wrong) this is only going to show me how much I lost in hands where I bluffed the river, rather than how much I lost on the river bluffs themselves right? And so it would show me losing money even where I am not bluffing enough because I put money in on flop and turn and ended up with no pair.

Is there a way I can filter to check this, i.e the results of the river bluffs independent of how much money i put in before the river? This might be confusing I hope someone knows what I mean. Also tell me if there would be a better thread to post this in.

Fozzy, Iv been trying to find that thread you mentioned in this thread perviously. It was to do with mac performance whilst running hem/table ninja through bootcamp. You know the one I mean?

Iv tried and tried using the search feature but I cant find it anywhere. Have you more information that might make it easier for me to find ?

I play on Colt (a cake network site) and when i try to 4-table using a HUD, none of the proper names line up. So for example, if I try to move the stats of player 1 on a certain table, the same thing will happen to table 2,3, and 4 as if it's mirroring the movement of the stat box on every table.

Also, is there a way to get the proper stats to show up in replayer?

The Cake Hud is causing a lot of problems - from what i know you need to make sure that you are using the Cake 2.0 software and preferred seating in the Cake client must be disabled as its not supported at the moment.

I used HM to import 95 bodog hands, but it gave me 2 import errors, and I try it with pokertracker, it imported all 95 hands w/o errors.

how do i check the errors?

So on CAKE, when a player leaves and a new player sits down, the stats from the person that just stood up from that seat are now assigned to the new player. ANyway to change this?.

No, unfortunately there is no way to reset the HUD when someone leaves. It is possible in HM2 via double right-click.

I play 6max hyper turbo SnGs on 888 poker and payouts are 21$ and 9$ but when I check hands played and press ICM it says that there is only prize for first and it is 10$ is there way to change/fix that?

I'm trying to export a HH of a tournament to a .txt file, but if i try "copy hands to clipboard" or "export selected hands to hard drive" , the result is not a simple readable file, but one with HTML codes. I tried to find the tournament at the HMarchive folder, but it creates XML files with HTML stuff again.. Any idea about making a simple readable HH for txt format?

why HM cant save/remember the size of the columns and the reports' window size?

To check the errors there should be a text file with the two hands in your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Importing\Logs folder. If necessary please zip and forward the original hands to support@holdemmanager.com with a link to your post so we can investigate this.

We are aware of this issue and hope to have a fix released for this in a future update although I have no ETA for this at the moment.

Not all poker sites save hand histories as text files. HM simply moves these files whether they be .txt or .xml files from where they are written to your archive folder. If you export these hands they are exported in a similar format to the original hand. If you wish to have a simpler text format for a hand you can right click it in HM and select "View selected hand histories" and copy/paste the text from this window. Alternatively there may be several web based hand converters that can convert certain hand types into a text format for you.

There are no plans to add such a feature. We will continue to support HM1 for an extended period of time although this will mainly be in respect to any major bugs and site updates that break the HUD/importing. A firm date has not been determined at this time.

Could any1 tell me plz what stats should my HUD include? And also how my popup window should look like? I'm quite new to HEM and despite having watched the tutorial vids, I have been struggling to find any info about it. Thank you indeed!
