It's Always Sunny.

Almost done with Las Vegas after it was recommended by numerous people ITT. It's not overly captivating, but it's entertaining and definitely worth a watch. The first two seasons are very strong, and then it starts to tail off a bit, but it's still solid. It's perfect if you're looking for something (new) to watch while you play poker, as it doesn't require 100% concentration but still entertains you.

V or Fringe?

Fringe is better but there's gotta be better options out there.

Fringe and its not even close. Fringe is a pretty good show. V is a pretty awful show.

Just started watching The Office US. Most episodes have me laughing.

agreed. i gave it a full 10 episodes or so of hating it before i quit watching.

+2. I think I made it roughly the same number of episodes in before giving up. I thought it was absolutely unwatchable.

I'm close to starting a new series and thinking of going with buffy since it's on netflix instant. Are all 7 seasons good? (I only see rec's for first 3 itt)

1st is meh, but its necessary to get the later seasons. 2 and 3 are awesome, and 4-7 are pretty good too, but not as good as 2-3.

Also, Psych is a show I would definitely recommend. No one really watches it (at least that I know of), but its definitely up there with my favorite shows.

just gave up on Chuck.. got to season 2 episode 4 and realized the only 'episodic' type shows (where there's a problem and solution within the episode and no plot development) that i enjoy are comedies. this wasn't nearly funny enough, and sarah's hotness was the only thing making me try to keep going.

Really? Season 2 was easy as hell for me to get through. Season 1 took some work initially. But after season 2, I just enjoyed the holy sh*t out of the show. I've done a few marathons.

A friend tried to turn me onto this show before and used Sarah as the reason, but it didn't work. In the beginning of the show, she was hot of course, but I live in LA, CA and that's nothing. In the context of the show though, I was head over heals. I've grown to love the show a bit too much to where I forgave the BS they introduced. So far though, they've made up for that. It takes a bit, but it's worth it.

Keep with it. The last handful of episodes leading up to, and including, the finale are too good to pass up. Season 3 has been really great and occasionally abysmal, but they've always kept me watching. Regardless, I won't stop watching. I'm in for the long haul.

Agree with most of this. The first season they really didn't figure it out yet. The 2nd and 3rd seasons have the best season long arcs. Seasons 4-6 have some of the best individual episodes of the series. 7 I thought was pretty bad. The ending was ok but it was a weak way to go out.

I guess I'll give it another go. It was just after yet another episode of 'oh no we need that russian bad guy's computer chip!' then they get it at the end that i was like ok, this show is gonna be an endless cycle of these situations with no real plot.

If your into British comedy/drama shameless is your answer.
