Just remembered Kane was singing the Canadian national anthem and wondered why. Assumed he was Canadian but he sang it wrong, so couldn't be. Just googled, yup he's Canadian.

He sang 'our home and sacred land' instead of 'our home and native land'

I'm perplexed.

I think its currently doing literally every single aspect better than US Survivor outside of how unbalanced the editing is.

Watching a final 2 end game without a gazillion advantages flying around, not even an idol play since the early merge and no forced firemaking is fantastic

This season is an absolute train wreck and not in a fun way.

Just when I thought things couldn't get more absurd in this round we ended up with

-3 small tribes with no wiggle room to begin with
-A stupid out there mini 'swap' rather than just dissolving into 2 tribes of 7
-6 immunity idols active at the final 14
-3 fake idols planted by production
-A forth fake idol made by Matthew
-Laurens extra vote
-Sarahs inheritance advantage

The era of Survivor being about playing with and against each other is well and truly over. Now its players vs the game

If she plays the fake one for herself first, Probst says it's fake, so then she busts out the real one.

The epic way it would need to go down is she plays the real one for someone else, and then the fake one for herself and Probst dunks on her.
