congratulations on The Shield, P&R and 30 Rock. wish i could wipe my mind and watch them for the first time all over again.

2 eps into Plot Against America. It's ok, but so far not amazing or anything. Does it get better?

Rewatch of The Shield is already on the schedule as soon as we finish up with Lost. Really wishing I would have gone with The Shield first, lol.

The Shield is going to look different now, as it was shot in SD, not HD, and on film. So it will look "Old." But it is elite.

So I'm finally watching Parks & Rec....the first season is amusing, but I heard it gets better in the 2nd? I really don't like the character of Mark for some reason...he seems like a sleazebag. Maybe I just don't like the actor?

The Shield looks pretty decent on Hulu, but they seem to have better video quality on most things. For example, some things that I DVR and don't get to that night, I prefer to watch it the next day on Hulu because the video quality is better, also auto cut thru commercials.

I am deep into season 2 on Parks and Rec, it is good, nothing ground breaking but I am liking it.

It gets much better after season 1, especially given your opinion of Mark.

Money Heist.

I love the genre and the first season or two about the first heist were awesome.

This new season...I'm having trouble getting through it.

Reminds me of Prison Break. It's like, once they broke out of prison, you kinda lost your hook. So they ended up in a new prison to break out of. Money Heist is following the same model with a new heist, and like Prison Break, it's not the same the second time around.

I just started watching and was excited where it was going 30 minutes or so into the first episode and then the absurdity kicked in and I found myself laughing my ass off. The things the characters end up doing are so off the reservation and unrealistic, I petered out after about 3 eps into S1 but I may come back later for more lulz

I'm re-watchng the Battlestar Galactica TRS (2004) marathon on Syfy channel. Holds up well. Few sci fi series (Expanse for instance) have such incredible background music and Katee Sackhoff as Starbuck Thrace is fabulous as are the other actors. Marathon also has brief snippets of the present day actors talking about it, mainly lanky hot blonde #6,Tricia Helfer (still looks great).

Seasons 2-3 are infinitely better than 1, sort of similar to the way the office starts, but parks is much more solid throughout the later seasons than the office.

I just finished The Office. Season 1 was terrible but it was pretty good from Seasons 2-6. It started sliding in Season 7 and fell off a cliff in 8 and 9, but the final three episodes were great. My biggest problem was that there were too many bad episodes in the show even during the good seasons.

terminator sarah connor chronicles is a highly underrated series. i think it's 2007-08. it's free right now on imdbtv.

if you like the terminator movies, this show is better than all of the movies except probably the first 2.

the pilot episode should get you right away. and for the most part it keeps delivering. summer glau is great!!!! she is from firefly.

then later garret dillahunt shows up, and he is a joy to watch. maybe the most underrated actor around. he was the degen gambler on deadwood with the messed up eye.

if you're looking for something to watch and you like this kind of stuff, def give it a try.

I’ll second this. There was a slow period in the middle but I think I remember a strong last season. Lena Headey was a solid Sarah Conner before she was Cersei.

I so wish they kept going with that Terminator show. It was good and it had real potential to be something great.

Agree with the underrated statement. Serenity (the movie based on Firefly) was on when I went downstairs for lunch yesterday. Always nice to catch a few minutes of that gang.

lol, this is the show that was the genesis of my Don't Watch Until They're Finished policy. The ending/cancellation of this show was horrible.

Edit: the ending was actually great...as a lead to the next season, not as an ENDING. FU Fox!

Plebs - watched the first season. Sitcom following 3 young guys in ancient Rome. Female lead is stunning in it. Nothing groundbreaking but good fun and had me laughing out loud several times.
