she was also in the cormoran strike series, a much better detective series than the capture
Is that on Amazon as well?

I still enjoyed it . Lots of these Espionage shows are far fetched till their reality

If anybody is looking for a comedy, Ramy is ****ing fantastic. Every episode is great. I watched it at launch, but don't recall seeing it mentioned here. Watching again now and loving it again.

Watched the S3 premiere of Killing Eve based on this thread. Didn't go stream S1 & S2, so I'm missing the setup. On initial view, seems like the dark semi-comedy that I might like.

Will probably have to go get the streams of S1 & S2 to catch up I guess.

I LOVED this doc.

"Sorry we don't have any money."

...

"But we have COCAINE!"

Edit to add:

"They're saying it's $500 to rent a helicopter to fly us there."

"500 are you serious?"

"Yeah, that's what he said."

"F*** it, rent TEN! We will go as a fleet!"

I was in Moscow on a shoot in 1992, and our Mob-connected host laughingly asked if we wanted to buy Soviet "guns and bombs."

I thought he was joking, but now I'm not so sure.

Watching Finders Keepers, a doc on Prime about a guy who buys a smoker from an abandoned storage unit, and inside is some guy's amputated foot. The guy who lost his leg wants it back, but the guy who brought it wants to become famous because of it and show it off.

Crazy.

Crazy.
I saw that a few years ago. My favorite part is when dude is at an auction for the famous leg lamp from A Christmas Story. He offers to autograph it for the guy who won the auction, apparently thinking that his presence was what made the leg lamp desirable, and the other guy is like "uh no thanks."

Just started watching the new true crime show "The innocence files" on netflix and first episode is really good so far. The dental expert is insanely unlikable.

Anyone else see this French/English production of War of the Worlds? I've watched two episodes and it's pretty good. Gabriel Byrne is in it. It was on Epix, I think, but I'm able to see it On Demand thru Sling.

my sister told me it was kinda good. i was gonna skip it cuz it's only like 6.5 on imdb, but you and she both say it's good, and the trailer looks ok. i'll give it a try. thanks!

I can't quite remember my feelings for S1 and S2 of Ozarks. S3 is really delivering though, possibly the best, although the
[spoiler]brother story is really tiresome and a lot of filler. Wish they found a different way to bring about those scenes rather than introducing a new schizophrenic character[/spoil]

Season 3 is really good, imo. The last scene was so good, I watched it five or six times.

war of the worlds

i only watched first episode. but it was good! idk why it's rated so low on imdb.

also it's relevant to our current situation with the pandemic, society/reality is all crazy right now

War of the Worlds is okay....it's lazy with a lot of the science, and there's no way the government would immediately tell people they've discovered proof of extra-terrestrial life...but I loved the score for the first episode...so damn good

Tried watching a new HBO show called Run. It was terrible. Lead actress really annoying and I found the dialogue really phony and forced. No chemistry between the 2 leads. Got some good reviews though so ymmv.
