Cade turned out to be such a disappointingly boring character when he was set up to be Ruth's intellectual equal in S1.

Cautiously optimistic for S3.

Any of you guys checking out Quibi app yet today? It has a lot of content now, movies and shows and I think more are released tomorrow which is the official launch date.

You get a 90 day free trial and then its $5-$7/mo depending on if you don't want commercials. You can only watch on your phone or Ipad, or maybe if you can get the app on computer not sure.

The thing is all content is broken down into 7 to 10 minute episode even for the movies.
I believe the shows and movies out now and new ones coming start with 3 episodes and then every day release another. If you wanted you could wait till each one airs and then binge it.

You can watch in landscape and portrait mode and its very different POV for each.
I have checked out several shows and looks pretty good.

Sounds pretty awful imo. So movies are in 10 minute incriments? A 2 hour movies will have 12 breaks while the next one loads? Plus you can only watch on phone or ipad?

Great idea launching a mobile only app when people can't leave their houses. Not that I care about the opinions of tech writers, but some might and they are saying it is ****, which could make it a total bomb.

It might turn out to be a stupid idea but they planned and built this long before Covid-19 and after spending over 2 billion, I guess they were anxious to launch it at the planned date.

It has some interesting stuff and the movies/shows seem pretty decent. Nothing to lose for trying it for 90 days for free. If you have T-mobile I think you get 1 year for free.

Yes, it is all original content. Everything is chopped into 7 to 10 minute pieces. But you could just wait a week or 2 for each full movie to be fully released and watch it all at once.

Sounds like a gimmick a bunch of clueless executives came up with. "Kids these days have no attention span and do everything on their phones, so let's make short content that only works on phones." Completely missing the fact that every other service already has a mobile app and a pause/resume function for anyone who wants to consume things that way.
