ya was decent, im still downloading them whenever they come out and for 20mins it's solid entertainment.

The quality of the new ones makes the old ones totally unwatchable. It's like a couple of eps ago on Family Guy when Stewie and Brian look through the window at their old selves.

Looks like the Party Down movie is getting the green light. Awesome show I wouldn't have known about if not for OOT!

increasingly poor decisions of todd margaret is coming back for a 2nd season in january. I missed it the first time around.

IFC started rerunning it and shows are popping up on XFINITY on demand for free. it's pretty entertaining.

Yeh it's on 4od. There's only 6 episodes and it's well worth a watch if you're a David Cross fan.

Can someone please advise me on whether or not I should keep watching Sanctuary? I've watched the first three episodes and my impression so far is:

I like Amanda Tapping but the accent she uses is painfully bad. Also her character is a bit of an annoying know-it-all in the expository dialogue department, does that improve? I realize there will always be some of this when a series first starts. Does the accent stay annoying?

The daughter character is irritating, does she get less irritating?

Sound concept, green screens are fine. Decent special effects.

Is this just going to be a Monster of The Week show with a ton of self contained formulaic episodes? Or is there a decent story arc?

Please advise whether or not I should continue to invest time in this. Right now I'm maybe 35% likely to keep watching absent some feedback. Thank you 2p2.

Sanctuary is a decent sci fi show. First couple of seasons were good enough, not spectacular but enjoyable esp as they started getting into the backstory, but in the third season is kinda lost its way and i stopped watching so im not sure how good it is now but skimming the wiki the fourth season sounds pretty poor.

I was especially impressed that the vast majority of the show was shot on green screen, not just the abnormals but most of the sets are CGI too.

Just finishing up my first rewatch of Twin Peaks in 20 years. Still awesome. Have to fastforward some of the high school drama in S1 and then even more in S2 (Josie, Nadine, the entire James story that got the show cancelled) but its still a great watch, holds up OK and groundbreaking in some ways. Check it out if you've never seen it.

One of the contestants on The Next Great Baker committed suicide . . . in October. The producers didn't announce it until this week, when he was eliminated from the show. It hasn't been revealed whether he killed himself because of his elimination.

I watched the pilot of Enlightened way back when it first started but forgot to dvr it and then completely forgot about it. But early this week I remembered I forgot! So I went to ondemand and powerwatched the whole thing.

I really liked it and now look forward to next season. Laura Dern plays psycho crazy extremely well!

Thanks, Phill. I'll give Sanctuary a few more watches and see if I can learn to accept the terrible accent & daughter.

Such an amazing show. Just watching those small pics above makes me laugh out loud. I dont even mind the 1-season that much, just wish they had 22 or 24eps instead of the 18. Would have been perfect.

Edit: Whoops never mind. Thought it was a 15 episode season. Forgot about the three that didn't air on tv at first.

One of my fave shows. Way ahead of its time and launched a pretty ridiculous amount of decent to amazing careers for what is effectively a failure.

Yeah, I realized that about a year ago when I rewatch the show, tons of successful actors on it.

Finished the first season.

I'm now used to Tapping's terrible accent and it doesn't bother me any more. Her patented little knowing head tilt is extremely annoying, though.

The daughter character is still slightly annoying, much less so now.

The show got much better in the second half of the season. Henry getting more screen time helped, and Tesla is absolutely fantastic. Druitt is also great. Will is irritating but someone has to be the normal person. The episode where he turned into the incredible hulk was pretty bad. I didn't like Bigfoot to start but he's grown on me now.

Will watch into season two.

Showtime released the House of Lies pilot - http://www.hitfix.com/articles/watch...s-pilot-online

There's an OOTV thread for the show with just a few people's thoughts on the torrent that was available last week.

I surprised myself but I found Vampire Diaries to be pretty good as far as teen sci fi dramas go.
